I've been looking for a red/beige 360 Spyder and am having some doubts. I'm a bit concerned about the amount of attention red would receive. A local dealer has a Titanium/Bordeaux that is quite classy looking. What do others think of this color combination.

Well in Ferrari, Red/Tan is always the best resale color, followed by yellow, TDF and Black!

TDF is BLUE.... it's very pretty..... DONT BUY RED.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! Red is so ugly, so common, its for girls and gays. Nothing takes away from a Ferrari than when they are red. makes them commonplace and boring.. I see red and wanna vomit. Except the rossa fiorano (deeper metallic red)....... PLEASE dont buy red, just let it rot away so there will be one less red sports car in the world. :D

Grigio Titanio over Bordeaux is gorgeous! Most of the Grigio exteriors are paired with a black interior so this one will really stand out. The only problem I suspect you'll find is that it's a MILF magnet. Trust me -- I know ;-)

Was the 360 ever silver with red interior? This is what I have on my 308, and I've seen it on a gorgeous 355.

I know that the 360 came with a much darker silver than on my 308, but I don't remember the interior color. . .I like red for most Ferraris, but if you want something a little different, my vote goes to silver!

Hey Todd... so tell us how you really feel.

I disagree. I think red is an awesome color and when on a Ferrari not only looks great, but goes back to the day when various countries had a specific color they'd paint their race cars (Italy = red, UK = Green etc).

At the end of the day, you need to pick a car in the color you like... especially when you're spending this much money. You need to feel GREAT when you walk into your garage and see your car and proud of it when you drive around.

    For me, that's red
For Todd, that's anything but red

That's why they paint them in different colors :D

If I had to chose another color after red, I'd check out TDF Blue as it's a very deep and rich color.

Finally, and not that you should buy your new car with resale in mind, the red/tan combo will sell faster than any other color combo.

Good luck and let us know what you decided to do.

    Frank

Red is known around here as "resale red" it is the most popular color for the car and is often the most sought after. I love red/beige and see it personally as the most attractive color but also as the easiet color to resale.

Ferrari Red! Go for it. Regardless the color, you will get attention with a Ferrari.

i think the notion that red equals a higher resale value on Ferrari's is a thing of the past. from my perception the Ferrari's that get most of the attention are the non-red ones. in fact my dealer prefers anything other than red, as the customer base is dictating a desire for more 'rich' colors, a la Grigio Silverstone or TDF. Andy from Beverly Hills Classic Cars has openly mentioned paying higher for anything other than red because customers are supposedly wanting anything but that. i for one have seen black Stradales and Enzo's commanding a higher asking price because of the rarity. now, i'm not saying it is thousands and thousands higher but enough to defeat the theory. just look at the two 250 Spiders to be auctioned at Sotheby's...one is black and one is red but the red one isn't being offered for more!

if you indeed like the red than go for it but don't make a decision because of everyone else.

I personally really like red (on V8 cars) and also it sells easier come resale time. I also love titanium/bordeaux and think that it is a very understated and classy combination. This combination is my first choice for all the V12 cars (barring the Enzo). I know of a 360M with low mileage and this combination which has been on sale for at least nine months :(. Any colour other than red tends to hang around that little bit longer. Go for whatever floats your boat :).

When I set out to search for my first Ferrari I was looking for a red car, after 6 month of failed attemp to find a proper car I ended up opening my options to yellow, titanum, silver etc... All my friends and neighbors knew that I was searching for a red Ferrari but are beginning to consider other color options. They all kept their mouth shut about other colors, but after finding my "red" Ferrari everyone said to me "Glad you bought a red one", as in their mind that's the color for a "Ferrari".

My wife does not like red color cars (She hated my red Porsche), she wants a yellow Ferrari. Again, after bring home my first red Ferrari she actually said "Ferrari does look better in red, this is the right color for this car".

Me, personally. I can't imagine a Ferrari in any other color. Of couse if I was rich enough to have multiple Ferraris sitting around and can afford to have one as a daily driver, I would probably buy a silver, titanium, or black one just to be low key.

Like I said... if not red, it's TDF all the way. There's a TDF Blue CS in our area which is just amazing looking... of course it'd look even better if it was red.

Also, it's not that red cars necessarily sell for more money, they just sell faster which can be really important when you're moving from Ferrari to Ferrari. When I was presented with the option to buy my new F430 (red/tan), I still had my 360 (red/tan) and didn't want to own both cars. The 360 sold quickly (it was clean and priced right), so I was able to quickly move the cash from the 360 into the hole in my bank account created by the 430.

Anyway... this one is even more subjective than exhaust systems, wheels and CS/Scud stripes and CF bits... pick the color you like.

I love black color. All my cars and my future cars will be always black - thats the best color for car. For any car except sport car, particularly Ferrari :) Ferrari should be red or yellow. At least for me to make difference from black daily driver :)
