Congrats Eddie! When he gets famous, I can tell my children that I raced at GPG against him... and lost miserably.
Stop wishing and start doing....that's what Karl Troy (the multiple Track Record Setter), Eddie, and our famous team owner driver Rob Whitener did! Just do it man, you've got the talent... If wishes were horses, Beggars would ride; If wishes were fishes, We'd all have some fried.
Alright, Eddie! There's a lot more to racing than just looking good! Fountain is a decent team, too. -Peter
Well, let's go talk to that fortunate one who just fell into some new found money-like one ticket for 270 million! So what will it be, fried fish or shrimp.
Did I smell a hint of sponsorship money? If there is any left I would like to have some as well. Pretty Please. Passed Cameron today on the Interstate on the way to FCI. Getting the car ready. I am going to try to bring it and a fleet (if 3 can constitute a fleet) of race cars to VIR.
She called to say she spotted a 360 spider with some guy who looked like Ronald McDonald in the driver's seat. I told her it was either you or Samer. (jk.... she knew it was you )
Thank you all for the support and good vibes. Especially big thanks to Rob Withener for all the help he gave me to get my career started and another huge thank you to RICAMBI AMERICA and Daniel Pass for being my very first Sponsor. The list of Sponsors is slowly growing now. I owe it to Ricambi America. The last thank you goes to my Friend, Coach and Manager Chuck Hawks, for having confidence in me and putting so much in it.
It wasn't the ditch that got him. It was the river-rock on the driveway that crossed the ditch, that got him. Ask me how I know. I still remember smashing open the bonnet with a boulder. That poor poor Modena.
Many years ago. When we were younger and dumber. The car was totaled. We found pieces of it almost 100 yards down the road. A 100+ year old oak tree near Milton, NC bears a wicked scar, the shape of a 360 Modena door, about 15 feet off the ground.
I think Eddie sent a letter to the Ferrari factory thanking them for building the car so well and saving his life!
Those Sunday morning cruises were legendary......there were times I'd get out of my car weak in the knees, and have to wipe off the leather!
Congrats Eddie on the ride. I knew you could make it !! I miss the ole days Racing Karts with ya. Show em what ya got and make it happen.
I wouldn't post these if everyone hadn't walked away unhurt. Just a good example of a learning experience on the way to a pro drive. Good luck F.E. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
"You will never know where the limit is unless you cross it once in a while, just try to do it where its safe."
Very good point! You don't know where it is until you go too far. I too am just glad that wreck turned out ok, and I'm impressed with how well the 360 held up.
