Bernie envisions a city GP in Paris.

Ecclestone: «Stadtrennen sind für die TV-Fans super. Zudem gehen wir ab 2009 sicher nicht mehr nach Magny-Cours. Dieses Kapitel ist abgeschlossen! Also muss sich Frankreich was einfallen lassen, wenn man weiter einen WM-Lauf will!»

Translation: "City GPs are great for the TV audience. Also starting 2009 we will no longer go to Magny Cours. That chapter has been closed! Therefore France has to consider what they want to do, if they want to keep their GP."

Gee, that'd be so much more fun than the current boredom track at NEVERs.

That could be cool. Lots of great streets in and around the city. Plus they could add a compulsories competition with a skidpad around the Arc d' Triumph!

Good, Magny-Cours is a terribly boring track. I actually prefer Fuji to that place.

They should make an F1 class and run the cars in Le Mans.

Now if only the FIA would schedule it the week just before or after Monaco, I could kill two birds with one stone during my annual trip, since I usually stop in Paris for a few days just before or after the GP de Monaco anyway . . .
