Thanks my brothers for all of your help. Over the last 5 years I asked you over 1000. Guess what the PPI is done !!

I pulled trigger on a Spider. Two questions:

    1. The cel and slow down light came on. Do you have any idea what it is ?

    2. While me my 28 friends and there girl friends were admiring my new Italian Marvel, I went to go for a ride. The top is stuck half way up
and the seats are all the way up... Like for a 2 foot midget.

Ah forget it. This car sounds awesome !

I have been driving it for a week like this. I love this car !

Also, how do you check the oil ?

Also, do you get a lot of attention in your car. I sure do :)

I dont know if this is the right thread or not but I need help.I was driving my 348 the other day when suddenly I heard a terrible thud and a grinding noise and lost all power. When I got out and looked I saw a little bit of smoke coming out of the decklid and underneath , near the front of the engine ,appeared to be a long black belt ,like a fan belt or something and its end was shredded.I just got the car recently and im not very good mechanically.Rather than go to ferrari and replace this belt, cause I bet its expensive,I went to the import scrapyard and found one that looked really a lot like it.There it was just laying on the ground under an old nissan, and I just couldnt believe my luck! Anyways, my question is regarding the cheapest way to get it back onto those round pullys that i can barely see let alone get my fingers near.My familys coming over sunday and i have told them how great it runs now they all want a ride,Im just losing confidence that I can get this belt on by then.eek! any advice greatly appreciated!

Due diligence has paid off and I have now found a real guide to when to change those belts. http://autorepair.about.com/library/weekly/aa071205a.htm Scroll down a bit they do say some cracking perfectly acceptable as long as across belt. Just checked and mine fine for another 100k.
Now perhaps we can move along.
