Are you sure you really want to know. The market is pretty soft right now. Maybe in Spring it may firm up. You must have guesstimate.

Yet another "how much is it worth" but really "hey PM me, I'm selling my car" threads.

Pay the $15 to subscribe and post an ad.

With that said, fast sale my guess would be in mid 60s or lower 70s. Just guessing. It is a 99, but it has "high miles", needs a service and its an F1.

Might wanna try the "Motivated 355 buyer" guy, see if you could "fast sale" your car to him. Just a suggestion. Good luck! :D

Fast sale..... I'd guess high 70's but the market is higher. I don't think 27k miles on a 9 yo car is high miles. Seems about right to me, 3k miles year.

price it at $60k and it'll fly out the door

price it at $70k and it'll sell within a month (if it passes a compression and leak down)

price it at $80k, and you'll get alot of calls, BS'r's, and waste of timers....and maybe sell it ...maybe not ....within several months

price it at $90k and people will think you're on drugs

    my 2 cents

    +1000.

He nailed it. Well put and I think those numbers are spo on.

The part that is scary as heck is that 4 years ago salvage title cars were going in the low 60s. 5 years ago this 1999 would fetch about a buck ten.

Not high miles on a regular car, but for a Ferrari in a SELL, repeat SELL situation, it is high miles...... That is because there are so many cars out there with lower mileage...

This is unfortunately true. People can talk all they like about how 30k miles is not a lot. I know from experience that in a Ferrari it is a big, big deal. I had people that simply were not interested regardless of price... they simply were not going to own a "high mileage' Ferrari. One guy told me - and he was being honest - that the car becomes one for "bottom feeders" as he put it.

Good luck with your sale. You may be better off finding a dealer that will buy it from you, but this is a tough market for sellers.

I tried to sell my Ferrari on cars.com, ferrarichat, Ebay, etc... for 6 months with no takers. My car was pretty rough and was a 97 Spyder. Finally took it to a dealer only auction in Orlando and sold it for $55K which was more then I could get anywhere else. I think the guy who pegged it at $60K for fast sale, $70K for a month, $80 to Waste your time, and $90 to look like a nut is dead on. Trying to sell a Ferrari if you aren't a Franchise dealer or known collector is harder than you think in this economic downturn. Your car is really nice so good luck with your sale. You might try having a dealer run it through the auction in California, Atlanta, Orlando, or WPB as 355's do surprisingly well there. I also hear the one in Manheim, PA is good but have no personal experience there. CM
