Well I have been a member here for almost 3 months and I have read with great pleasure everyones outlooks and experiences with their fine autos now after many a day and night the waiting is almost over...:)

The car a 94 348 Spider Rosso corsa/ tan interior with x-ost and hyperflows + F 40 carbon fiber seats and 360 wheels was finally picked up from Austin Texas on Sat morning, the seller who happens to be a F chatter (Jagbuff) was gracious enough to have the car stored for me till March when at that time I was able to transport the vehicle up.

Today I spoke with the driver of the truck and he assured me all was great and going smooth he was somewhere in Ohio and that he will be at my door tomorrow morning (WED) around 9 am.

He sleeps on the truck at all times and never leaves it he also said that if he had a dollar for everytime someone took a picture of the car he could eat steak everyday for a year...lol

So one journey is almost at an end and the other is about to begin the car will join my other two vertibles my winter car BMW 325 ic cabriolet and my other pride a customized 944 S2 Porsche cabriolet it has a body package on it chiped and custom interior plus I installed my avatar crest on it, people can't recognize what it is
    and they think it's Italian...lol

At this time I would like to thank you all for educating me along the way as well as making me pee my pants from time to time I will remain indebted to you all and I will continue to be a supportive member of this fine community, I will have more technical input to support once the car is in my possession and I can start my love affair.

I would also like to take this oportunity to especially thank Franck aka Jagbuff he made my first Ferrari buying experience painless and fun.

Thank you Franck I promise I will treat her well all the years to come and I will keep you posted as to her condition in turn I will bug you for info from time to time since you are intimate with this car more than I, Thanks again

As for the rest of you GO TO HELL...:D:D..just kidding I'm a kidder U Looooooooooook Maaaaaaavouleeeeeeesssssssssss...lol

I promise to take many pics of the arrival and post them probably by Wed night

    Thanks again all..:)

    Now drive!!!

Questions... did it also include the original rims & seats? If you would, send me a PM with the selling price. Perhaps I need to be asking MORE for my Spider to get it to sell.

Very nice purchase. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come. Welcome to the community and I look forward to your pictures and stories with the car. FYI, I owned a 94 348 red/tan Spider so if you need any tips, let me know.

Well I talked to the driver tonight and the car is in Canada YEAH!

He ran into a small snow storm that lasted abut 15 min not a big deal but just enough to create a slushy mess and my car is dirty now..:(

He was gracious enough to ask if he should wash it I informed him no as I was afraid of the cars door locks etc freezing solid, just my luck the temp was suppose to stay above freezing but it took a sudden dive and were at -15 again BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

He is in a town called Weyburn which is about an hour and a half out of town, he is exhausted so he will sleep there till morning and then deliver the car by 10 am..:)
If interested check on Google maps the distance traveled from Austin TX to Regina SASK Canada we are located almost directly north of Austin and slightly to the left.

It is now 3 am and I don't think I will be getting much sleep...lol

-15C is very cold, I would strongly recommend adding antifreeze and changing the oil to match the temps... It's going to be a shock for the poor car since its always been in a warm climate!

Oh man, I envy you this experience. On the other hand, I can take my "old" car out today in the 68 degree clear-sky day. LOL.

Congrats ... the wait must have been killing. I would have got ulcers if I were in your place. Looking forward to your pics. Franck is a great car buff, I am sure the car is in top shape. Have fun driving here when the weather permits.
