Oh my...this one gets me all giddy....Audi R8 with R-Tronic Transmission. Just 1598 miles since new. Finished in Phantom Black over Black with Carbon Blade. This one is LOADED with ALL options available on the R8 for the US. Additional upgrades include FULL OEM Carbon fiber engine bay and FULL Carbon fiber OEM interior package not available on US spec cars, 20" HRE wheels, sport exhaust, B&O sound system, bluetooth, heated seats, leather dash and doors, and factory wheels! One of 2 R8's believed to have the center console finished in piano black. MSRP 136k plus another 20k in OEM Carbon Fiber upgrades and another 10k in wheels/exhaust upgrades!

Call for more details...more pics inbound as well!!!

No no...looks VERY good in black. I like it without the contrasting side intake, looks cleaner.

yes but aftermarket wheels could void the warranty and create a very bad issue with the all wheel drive system....someone needs to check and see what mph these wheels are warrantied to.

This DOES not use the same system as on the Lamborghini as you are attempting to sell.. it is not Apple to Apple...

No not correct...but I already answered you on the other thread about your Gallardo...so I will just re-post it here...

I'll take my chances....if someone thinks there is an issue, i am selling the car cheap enough that they can sell these wheels and buy some wheels on ebay and break even. I asked a simple question...what is my car worth? I didn't ask in the title what people thought about aftermarket wheels and lambos. I have seen you guys sell a few Lambos with aftermarket wheels and I didn't see you posting all over the page info like you are now. If it is an issue with anyone who is buying the car I will figure out a resolution if need be....thanks for your 2 cents.... "

    MY response.....

WOW did not mean to get you all up in a dander...yes ther are alot of people that have after market wheels on their cars..BUT they also NEVER ever have got anywhere near 15-25K miles on them, (that I know of)...you are correct that yuo may NEVER have a problem...but talk to the folks that HAVE had the problem and paid for it dearly...but it is the consumers choice...you are 100% correct...AND as I stated, if you drive your car in and around city driving, no tracking, no high speeds like I said just a bling bling driver then yes your chances are not as great as if you drive the car they way it was built to be driven.

Yes, I do sell cars with after market wheels as well..BUT what you do not know as that with EVERY CAR I sell with after market wheels, they buyer is ADVISED in writing of the know issues AND signs a waiver releasing us of all responsability..becuase YES people will still buy your car and many others with after market wheels...does not make it a bad car...just may not be the car for some...

And if you do a search here and MANY other locations..I have ALWAYS stated my position on after market wheels...this is not the first time...

    JUST FYI

I know someone with 50,000 km on a murci all with after market wheels, not a problem
know someone else that had a murci roadster for more than 20,000 miles aftermarket wheels, no problems

both cars were driven hard and to the limit in both speed and handeling

    The notion of warranty aside:

    1. Those wheels are hideous.

    2. I would never roll on those. HREs seem to have some issues, read this: http://forums.audiworld.com/lrqc/msgs/41036.phtml

Otherwise, with stock wheels, the car is a stunner. And they're an amazing drive.

I agree, I am sure there are cars out there that have never had an issue and may never have an issue..but there are also those that have.

I know of a Lamborghini currently recieving a new VT trany due to the wheels AND it only had a little over 10K miles on it. AND warranty is not covering it.

Check with local AUTHORIZED Lamborghini Dealers Service Depts and see what they say...

But as I state prior, to each his own..just not for me.

Those are iForged wheels, not HREs, if I'm thinking of the same car. This is Eric K.'s r8 right? If so, they aren't HREs.

They're still hideous. They belong on a Civic.

***Update*** The wheels pictured on the car are I-forged wheels, they are one of the sets of wheels coming with this car. The owner of the car also had a set of custom made HRE wheels for the car...I will correct the ad on the site.

    Thanks for pointing it out!!!

So if I am correct you want 166K for it? I mean the car looks absolutely amazing but for 166K i would rather make the stretch and get a Stradale.

Great looking car. I would imagine this thing should sell relatively quick with that color combo and tasteful upgrades. Do you have any pictures of the interior?

Right you are. If an owner doesn't give a crap about his warranty, if the car still has one, then put on the dumb aftermarket wheels ! I'd rather be safe, than sorry.

Sorry I mislead you, I am only a teenager and was just expressing what I would do If I were in that position and if it was a feasible option. However, I would love to see a picture of the CS.

Except a full set costs almost half as much as the Civic itself.
