Sold at Barrett Jackson for a fraction of what it will be worth one day.

The builder, Randy Grubb is an artistic genius. He has built several of these giant scale customs each one different. This one is powered by a 702 cubic inch GMC V12. The grille is made of glass (Grubb is a glass sculptor by trade). If he continues to turn out these creations, I expect they will develop their own following.

If they actually make a movie of Altlas Shrugged in period, that is the car Hank Reardon should drive.

What sort of thing does a 702 inch V12 normally power? It's great he's using his talent in glass sculpting to create these phenominal cars but if he hired some aluminum craftsmen to build the bodies his cars would last a whole lot longer and probably be more desireable. Very cool nonetheless.

It was used in the heavy GM trucks in the early 60s, and also for generators/pumps/etc on a fixed frame

The body is hand-formed aluminum. Only the grille is glass.
