Kinda weird how it just stopped, I'm thinking hydraulics failure but I'm not sure.

Someone started another thread about the F-cars looking plain without many stickers, but I think it looks better than it has in god knows how many years. The lack of sponsor stickers makes it look meaner in my eyes.

ITV showed an onboard replay. He was downshifting around an apex, several times then the car just cut and he rolled it as far as he could. Looked like the second to last right hander (14 I think).

I agree - the car looks great, but I think the spoiler looks kind of stubby. I guess whatever works, right?

Webber stuck in the gravel - do you think he'll blame this one on Hamilton too?

Anybody watching it on SpeedHD? Truely HD or just stretched/upscaled?

Last year in the AU GP it was Massa with the problems and now it's Kimi. Well, at least Kimi has shown that he can win from the back of the grid. Let's hope he can do it again.

I'm worried about KR's situation - in the past when he's stuck in the middle of the pack he doesn't show much initiative and just gives up on the race. Hopefully the WC has changed his outlook a little and made him hungrier. As we saw last year, every point counts.

Are you speaking presumptuously or of fact. They do actually, have the cameras just don't broadcast an HD feed. I was 90% sure they wouldn't start for Speed, but was hoping otherwise.

I am 90% sure they don't have HD cameras. Mainly because ALL the cameras would have to be in HD, including the onboard cameras. If I remember right, no one makes HD cameras small/light enough for the teams to use them.

Didn't quite make the pit lane... so, Kimi will start 16th. They're saying it's a fuel pressure problem/issue...

This 3rd session the cars will finish with their race fuel load, so expect much slower times than the 1:25's we've been seeing. Perhaps this will sway the advantage as some cars will certainly tolerate the higher fuel load better.

Alonso doesn't make it - wow. Only the 2nd time in his career, so they say. Maybe the Renaults really aren't up to par this year... Hard to believe, given they stated working on the '08 car earlier than anyone else (that I know of)
