Started my new weekly "job" of washing both a 599 and a GranTourismo. Not sure about other people on the forum but to me washing a car is rather relaxing there is that unique satisfaction ogf of standing back and admiring good work.

Today was extremely windy here so started with the rather dirty Maserati and the colour makes avoiding water marks rather difficuly, nevertheless the results were fairly good, the Birdcage wheels on the other hand arent that easy to clean though as I was going to find out neither are the pentagrams on the 599...

The Grantourismo has such awesome curves that while one can appreciate them when looking at the car one can really appreciate them when you wash it. One hugely dissapoint aspect is the ammount of plastic in the engine bay, added to the fact it gets rather dirty.

After that it was time to do the 599, which was covered in dust, many people dont like the look of this car but to me its stunning and washing again makes one realize what a work of art this sahpe it, whether its pure art of functional art I will let youg guys decide. Opening that bonnet and seeing the V12 there its hard not feel a bit of adrenaline...

However the finished product after 3 hours was fabulous, real sense of achievement. How many others enjoy washing their exotics....and anyone else care to post up pics?

Very nice Jacques! Have you thought of using a water De-Ionizer? It filters out the minerals in the water so you don't have to worry about water spots.
