I disagree. IMO, Kimi doesn't have a history of highly risky moves. I think he had pressure from the team to make the pass.
He was slow on the draw though - he waited a few laps (like a buffoon) before he opened them On the plus side Kimi should be good to go so if he can make a coupe passes then when the others make their last stop he may be able to pick up a point or two. Or not... he just spun out
Not that it really matters, but this is precisely what closing the pits does. If the cars can pit as soon as they get back to the pitlane, teammates would be likely to have gaps between them. Once you squish the field, you are guaranteed a stacked pitstop if you pit both your cars, a stupid situation. The closing of the pitlane removes the advantage of rushing around to the pitlane under caution (before you catch the SC). This could be dangerous if the accident is between the pitlane and a rushed competitor. doh! Kimi spins.
Time to hit the mountains. No more time to watch this Ferrari team effort. Disappointing to say the least. Kimi could have had 3rd maybe after a his stop. Hard to say but neither driver was up for it today. Kimi charged early but his time behind Rubens and the insane move on Kovi was interesting oh and now the move behind Glock. Yep its time to go have fun and end watching this effort.
