I am on a holiday trip as for now, but my dealer called me yesterday and told me news on my 430 Scuderia delivery. As our very respectable F-chat comrade Mike "icemanbops" mentioned in 599/612 section that 430 Scuderia deliveries is delayed for a little bit all around the Europe. My dealer told me that I have one of the first 10 customer 430 Scuderias for Ferrari Deutchland. My dealer told me also that customer 430 Scuderia number 2 is already delivered to one of the biggest F-flippers in Germany and now this car is for sale from the floor for very huge premium. My dealer assured me that my car will be delivered in first half of January. It is very very sad for me that there is NO Holiday gift for me this year, but only good thing is that my 430 Scuderia will be registred as 2008 car and January is not so far.
Pics will follow right after I will take delivery.
    Promise.
Wish you all Happy New Year.
    Best.

So if it's 2008, you will not get the 60th anniversary plaque anymore?
Is Ferarri upset that the person is flipping #2? What is the asking price?

I will get F1 World Champ plaque instead of 60th Anniversary - it suits more to the Scuderia. At least no one will be able to say that my 430 Scuderia is "old" 2007 year registration car. Best.

In Germany there are some flippers, having very good connections at Ferrari Deutchland and making profit on exporting new Ferrari models from Germany. Asking premium for this car is about EUR 75.500,00 netto and I was told that this car is almost spoken for. Best.

What I still can't figure out is where are all of the 430 Scuderia???? The 8-Cylinder production line was 15-20% 430 Scudera in mid-September and they had been in production for at least a full month prior to my factory visit. One would think (me at least) that many FerrariChat non-North America customers would have their cars 4-months into the production.....

You know, I have to be honest with you, I think you worry too much about these insignificant details. Two months ago you were over the moon about having a 60th Anniversary Emblem, now you prefer the F1 World Champ. I think what it shows is that at the end of the day it doesn't really matter as people change their minds minute to minute about what is important.
Sorry to hear about the delay though.....

It is sad of course about delivery delay, but January is almost near and, as ou said, those details really means nothing when it is time coming to recieve Scuderia. I had changed some options on my Scuderia, will describe my changes when posting delivery pics in January. Best.

Surely a Jan08 car is already being built, so is likely to have the 60th anniv plate
Certainly my Feb07 delivery car had the 06 plaque

    Hi there dear comrade Joe,

I am on the trip now, but since you posted your question I feel that I must write an answer. I have purchased my car from as I was told one of the most reputable and well-known independent exotic car delaers in Germany - AUTODROMO, www.autodromo.de, company chief is Dag von Garrel, guy who provided me all news about future Ferraris. I really thought he is very nice partner to deal on my purchase with. But in reality when time come to recieve a car, everything turned upside-down. My dealer told me that there are problems with exporting car from Germany, that Ferrari Deutchland want him to lease the car and there is no way how to avoid this. And delivery was delayed form December to January, from January to February and so on. My dealer told me tons of BS about zero possibility of exporting Scuderia to Estonia, where my Scuderia was aimed to have first registration. I have told that I will register GMBH and will keep car on German plates first year. After one-and-half weeks of silecne my dealer told me that he will not recieve this car at all, due to Ferrari Deutchland protection from flippers. I was offered to take back my deposit, because delivery will be impossble. My friends from Monaco called AUTODROMO and asked for Scuderia, answer was yes, for EUR 60.000,00 netto premium car is to go from the floor. I phoned him, told him that he is greatest BS of all times, but everyhting had broken with my Scuderia. MY DEALER HAD FLIPPED MY SCUDERIA FOR 60.000,00 EUR PROFIT. I have returned my deposit back and have placed an order for the car with help of my friend from Frankfurt. He is VIP customer at ULRICH FERRARI in Frankfurt and I am about to recieve car from them in mid-July, but I must keep it one year in Germany, on German plates. Hope that this time I wil recieve my car without any BS. If everything will be well this time, I will secure "F149" spot for May 2009. I will go on with Ferraris. I have started way to my dream and do not want to stop. Promise.

Sorry to hear about your troubles securing a Scuderia!
They sound like a bunch of painted tarts selling their wares to who ever has the most change in their pocket. They don't care who is buying either; just so long as they get their pockets well lined...

I'm terribly sorry to hear this, my friend. Mr. Garrel seemed like a nice guy to me, I seriously cannot believe he turns out to be such a ******. Wow...
Glad you managed to find another car, though - July isn't that far away.

Should you need any help, don't hesitate to pm me :)

    Good luck!!!
