Blame it on Ferrari... they need to commence with letting out the "new hotness" - then there'd be plenty to talk about.

Stole it from the NY Times obit on William F. Buckley Jr.

Wish I'd actually had that one in my vocab before, but no.

As to the ban, he was asked several times to put his threads where they belonged. Many didn't belong here in Supercars. When I asked him to do so, he replied, "Ban me if you must, but don't threaten me." Or words to that effect.

So, net result, after much discussion in the mod section was, 90 days in the hole.

How about making a pole when/if he returns about what his first thread will be related to on the F40?

    LOL.

Every time I google one of his rather peculiar words, the "Dictionary.com Word Of The Day" entry is on top. So for everyone missing him, there's your (and presumably his ;)) new-word-every-day-source which will surely prove to be copacetic if not supererogatory: http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/

If wasting bandwidth is an offense then there are hundreds here that should get the boot.

I miss the "Clown Prince of FerrariChat" and await his return.

I think an ideal solution is HALF a Graham! :D I enjoyed his wit and commentary but there was simply WAY TOO much of it! It seemed like he was starting threads for the sake of seeing his name on every thread in the Supercar section. If he cannot change then I would vote to keep him off. If he can learn moderation ... then I'd give him another chance.

Voila! That may be the solution. He could carry a handicap where he has "restricted" posting... sort of like they use in horse racing to even up the feild. When I was little my dad's racehorses always carried the smallest handicap because they behaved themselves by not winning :)

I agree about the multiple thread thing though. However there are many threads on F-Chat that also have little substance...

Sorry Matt but I dont agree with you, this section is anything but boring so think about what you are saying. Its sounds like you need to go to the off topic section, in there is where Graham belonged half the time.

    This thread needs deleted.

    Regards,

    Matthew

The "Rossa Subscribed" Forum could use some action. This might be a good place for drivel.

It might entice a few of his "Unsubscribed" fans to pay up.

F-Chat without "512Tea Are" is like Magnum PI without "Higgins". (Whatever that means to you!) Besides, wouldn't anyone want to see him post photoss of him in an "Efforty" with his bowler hat on!? :D

What did he get banned for?
    Overuse of the word Comrade?
Overuse of the words Joe Sackey?
    Overuse of countless other words?

I have a space on my shop wall reserved for this image (right next to one of George Barris autographing HRH's Lamborghini jacket).

He was funny at times but is a troll most of the time with tons of nonsensical topics and baiting of other fchatters.

IF you and some of the other people hated his posts so much, why not use the "Ignore" function. Isn't that what its there for???

I for one miss his posts. It was a bit much at times when he made multiple threads on a daily basis, but it kept this section alive. Plenty of others do far worse and deserve longer bans then they receive IMO. Seems a little harsh to ban 512TeaAre for 90 days because of the way he chooses to communicate.
