Hi guys, Just wanted to drop in and say a brief hello to the fellow UK-ers. I moved here from Sydney, Australia about 3 weeks ago and am living out near Bayswater now. No cars for me over here at this point so I'm relaying on the services of TFL. I've been pretty happy to see quite a few F-cars out and about doing being used regularly...quite refreshing indeed! I heard the single loudest Ferrari street car ever yesterday. I was walking through the western end of Hyde Park and you could here it all the way over the other side driving down Park Lane. Heard the driver give it a rev and it was the nearest sound to an F1 car I've come across.....gave me tingles on the back of my neck and I was well over half a mile away! Anyway hello to you all. I love your country (well parts of it anyway!) and hope to be here for a few years yet. Justin
Hi Justin, You obviously learnt fairly quickly then Enjoy London for the hustle and bustle, the cars and the ladies and come up to Scotland sometime, always welcome. Regards, Matthew
We'll be joining you in a few months Justin! Arriving early July. We've joined up with FCGB and plan to ship over the 365GT next year to have some fun with it! We'll be based somewhere in Surrey/Berkshire, just need to find a house with a big garage! Cheers Andrew Stevens
I try not to socialise with too many Aussies...I can do that back in Australia, so no Walkabouts or anything like that for me. Not that I don't want to see them, but I don't want to hang around just Aussies if you know what I mean. Sounds pretty cool Andrew. Maybe we can catch up some time when you get here and settle in? I was in France over the weekend and saw some pretty amazing old Ferraris driving around.....even a mint yellow Dino and some other gorgeous old Ferrari (couldn't tell which model) ploughing through the snow in Calais! Now there's a sight you don't see every day...especially back in Oz
Welcome to both of you ! I live in Berkshire , keep us up to date on the board and when you arrive we will "engage" you in the local schedule. regards James
