Folks, I'm looking for a late model Mondial in Red (either tan or blk). I've tried a lot of Google/Yahoo searches to find this bad-boy. Anyone know any great ways of finding one of these beauties??

Also, what was the last year the coupes' were made? I can't seem to find that so far.

    Thanks, Dapper Dan

Last US Mondial coupe was the 89 Mondial T coupe with the 3.4 motor. Rare car here in the states, something like 40 of them were imported.

I have nothing of value to add here other than "FOP? I don't use FOP. I'm a Dapper Dan man!"

    I hope you get it.

p.s. to make this relevant - good luck in your search! Mondial's rule!

Are you looking for a coupe only, or would a cabriolet work?

What I'm really looking for is an '88 Mondial Coupe which is rare at best. I would consider a convertible under the right circumstances.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

If a coupe is what would really make you smile, then all I can offer is, "be patient". They do come up from time to time. Don't let the urgency of the moment dictate that which you will be dealing with for millions of moments afterwards. I waited two years after seeing not only the model of Mondial that I wanted but - the "exact car, vin # wise" that I wanted those many months ago. To my surprise, it came available (ORGASM) followed by my purchase. Rachel has been a dream come true. I waited and she came to me.

I know you get my drift.

    Good luck,

    Hank

Drive both before you make that statement. The cab is a totally different car from the coupe.

    Dan,

I have been thinking of listing my late 88 coupe for sale. Its black metallic/creme interior. Just turned 24k miles, ive had it for about 6 years. Has won Platinum at a few FCA shows. Complete tools, books etc..

Not to hijack the thread but why is that? The experience with the top down is way better than with the top up, but, why are the cab and the coupe so different? Is it the body stiffness? I do not notice much body flex in our t.
