Very cool! Nice engineering work as well, on the approach angle! Hauling loose lumber just doesn't cut it, in some neighborhoods! LOL!
Hmm, the Cobra R would look REAL nice being unloaded from that when I go to open track events.. Nice truck Tarek !!! One question though, why the soft - I assume removable - sides, and not a solid box ?
Nice transporter. You must be the official Fchat transporter. What material did they use to cover the bed?
Hi Tarek, Nice transporter, I`m glad to see that you have finally bought something in Bianco..!! A pair of Shields on the doors would look good! Let us know when you are in Europe / UK it would be good to meet up. Regards, Phil.
Thats a nice setup... I was considering something similar, but I feel more comfortable with hard walls and a lockable environment. Designing a driver side "barn-door" made getting in and out to the car a breeze. It is an absolute must. Getting a driver would be the crowning touch, but I have no idea where to begin to find someone. Stu Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks ............the platform itself is stainless steel and it's covered with an epoxy antiskid coating.
Thanks Phil...........didn't have the guts to order the Scud in white, therefore got the MAN truck in white . It would a pleasure to meet up. I'm often in London. I'll definitely give you a shout next time I'm in your area. Regards, Tarek
Very nice Stuart...........is that a truck or a trailor? A driver for the truck is essential...........here it's easy to find drivers. Main thing is to teach them how to properly load and unload the cars.
Tarek, Thanks. Its a trailer.. It has a 6000kw generator, heat/ac, winch, loading lights, work lights, enclosed awning and exterior lighting, as well as enough room to work on a car inside. My next transport will be the same box, on a truck chassis, with an elevator lift gate. At that point - the arrival/departure grade percentage goes to zero.
Great looking rig Tarek, I could have used one last year for the trip up to Watkins Glen, 3,400 KM in the 360 Spider with racing seats was just a bit much for a long weekend! This should serve you well and in style. It would be my choice over a trailer.
Thanks Bob...........3400 kms is a bit too much for me as well. I agree with you, I bought a trailer a few months ago, but found it to be a bit inconvenient. The truck makes things much easier.
Congrats Tarek!! Great looking transporter. Now it's just a few weeks waiting for the Scud. Have fun on your roadtrips through Europe!! Guy
Thank you Guy.............hope to see you in Summer. Please give Bart my regards, should you see him.
