I would appreciate if anyone with access to the 275 GTB alloy/steel body published information could tell me the configuration for 7981 (long nose, 3-carb, 2-cam, CV joint). Thank you.

What do you want to know about it? It is a 3 carb, steel body, non-torque tube car. I have been tracking these cars for 8 years and this vin has been off my radar screen. You may want to e-mail Mike Sheehan who has a larger and older data base. He is at Ferraris-online.com. I have sent you a PM.

I saw this car today. It is an alloy body. Cavallino #9 had it listed as a steel body. Is anyone here looking to buy it?

My information is that the car was sold last Friday for something close to $1m in a deal involving Fantasy Junction.

I saw the car at Fantasy on Saturday. They were asking 1.1m. It is an alloy, 3 carb, non torque tube car. If someone bought it, sent it to someone like Motion Products and spent 300K to make it perfect. What would it be worth when they got it back in 2 years? Anyone with a crystal ball out there?

Hi, was it THAT bad? I thought it might have been an OK car to use with a bit of TLC and servicing.

For double the price it is worth..... :) (See the thread of market going down). Believe me I had offers that are way above the current market, but these are all between private people and the market doesnt see this.
    Ciao

Too much fun....But I liked your remark of driving a less expensive car and thus less risky and scary. But it is our faith...we have to live with that... :)

I need to start driving it more. It is difficult to let something go at any price if there is passion involved. Just something about the 275gtb......
