Hulk Hogan's son crashes again ???

I spoke to a friend of mine that went to high school with Terry (HH). He knows him pretty well and said he has a brother that is in prison doing hard time for something, he didn't know what. Maybe Nick will have a chance to see his uncle soon.

 

I'm surprised this has never made the news before.

 

They can share cells and have a family affair

 

I would take a wild guess and say it involves Cocaine.

 

I would second that wild guess and possibly add some sort of violence in the equasion as well.

 

If he has a brother, he's not in prison in Florida.

Wrestler Hulk Hogan sued over son's car crash

CLEARWATER — Hulk Hogan is being sued by attorneys for the man who was critically injured in a car crash involving the celebrity wrestler's son.

John Graziano's attorneys filed suit Monday in Clearwater against Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea. The suit says he and his estranged wife, Linda, are liable as the parents of 17-year-old Nick Bollea, who is also named in the suit.

Graziano was a passenger in Nick Bollea's Toyota Supra when Bollea crashed into a tree in Clearwater on Aug. 26.

Attorneys say they will seek millions of dollars for the now incapacitated Iraq war veteran. He will require care for the rest of his life.

The attorney for Terry and Nick Bollea, Morris Weinberg, says he wasn't surprised by the suit and likely will make an issue out of Graziano's failure to wear a seat belt.

 

I can't imagine what the insurance must be for a 17 year old with a Viper and Supra with crashes and tickets.

They are screwed.. I saw the quote from the Video , that Linda was on, mentioned in the pdf above.

 

Since Nick was in control of the vehicle wouldn't he also bear the responsibilty of ensuring that his his passengers are wearing their seatbelts and complying with the law. If hi spassenger refused to wear a seatbelt he should have pulled over and had the passenger exit the vehicle. I think Terry and Linda are screwed or at least their insurance company. I would hope they have a large personal liability policy in addition to their car policies

They are indeed screwed. Technicalities about getting the blood sample for Nick's alcohol content are lame, and blaming the injured for not wearing a seat belt is Uber-lame. I like Hulk Hogan, but if I were on the jury I would see plenty of cause for a big settlement here.

A couple of things I take away from this whole mess..........

1. Man, can lawyers make you look like the devil. Reading the filing makes it look like Terry is a villain.

2. It just goes to show that your children can really mess up your life. You work your whole life. Skimp and save..... finally get to the good years, and poof. One mistake, that you didn't even personally make, and it's gone.

Now, just so we're clear, based on everything I've read in this case, I think Nick is responsible and should face the consequences. Further, if what was written in the filing is true and Terry did give them alcohol, I think he shares in the blame.

It will be interesting to watch how this works itself out. I'm just glad I get to do it from the outside...............what....a.....mess. So sad..........

I wonder if Terry did have permission from John's mom for him to consume alcohol how that could actually affect the case.

Growing up there were several rules when consuming alcohol underage. One was having parental consent, the biggest one was no driving.

 

If you're street racing does an insurance company have to pay up? If you rob a bank and the get away driver crashes, does the insurance company have to pay up? I sure as hell wouldn't.

 

I would think it depends on the wording in the policy. I would think a personal liability policy would cover even if he was street racing. If it hinged on breaking the law then the ins co wouldn't pay if you ran a stop sign and hit someone or hit someone as a result of a DUI

 

I don't know of all cases but a DUI can be grounds for not covering the driver/ car.

 

I think a jury would have a hard time feeling bad for The Hulk since, according to the suit, he was in the car with Nick when Nick was stopped two times within 19 miles for speeding over 100 MPH. That is going to be used to show that Terry had no problem with his reckless driving if after the first stop he didn't take control of the vehicle. I can understand the first stop, it is hard to control the driver of the car but when they got stopped he could have taken over as driver.

 

And this is why the Jury will hang him out to dry.

Hulk should have been a parent and not a partner in crime. Nick shouldnt have been driving with all the tickets he's had.

 

Was Graziano a willing participant (passenger) during this race?

Did he know that Nick had been drinking?

Did he know that Nick drove recklessly?

Did he know that Nick sped frequently?

Etc., etc.

Or was Graziano a kidnap victim?

I'm not blaming him, but I have to wonder why others would be held liable if he willingly chose to participate as a passenger - I'm sure he knew all of the stuff alleged in the suit before he got into the car.
