That's great! I never even noticed! I'm going to be changing the oil with a kit from Ricambi and a few gallons of Redline 10W-40 this weekend. I'll make sure and up the front so that I can take care of that. Thanks :) [Just realized that I'll have to have the tires rotated on the wheels as well. Oh well!]

Also... I ordered a K&N air filter for it. Anyone with one notice that helping much?

Definitely worth a few horsepower, and a little better intake sound. Nice personalized plate!

    It does have one. :):)

This one probably just needs adjusting?? Probably does not hold on an incline??

This one may even be ****ed! :D:D

Maybe he is just being extra cautious? :):)

Removed wheel, brake caliper and rotor. Cleaning all surfaces and re-tensioning the shoes.

(Can't get more pics to load)

Damn shoes are worn and have never been adjusted. Nice and snug, now :)

Good job, Dr. Frank! I like it when newbies aren't afraid to jump in and tackle a task like this!

One question - I don't think I have ever seen air injection hoses/pipes like the ones in your picture. Where do these pipes go (the ones on either side of the air cleaner housing)? Is that part of a K&N conversion? Or is that something that is only found on late Spiders? It doesn't show that way in my parts book from April 1994.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea! They are still black when they pass over the radiator. They might have been painted when the lip spoiler and side skirts were done.

I think Jeff is referring to the small black pipes on either side of the airbox that follow along side the MAF's and plenum intake hoses... ive never seen those either.
The red air hoses are cool though, ive not seen anything but black ones myself. Gorgeous car! Congrats!

Congrats on the new car. If you haven't bought the oil yet, go for the Redline 5W40 engine oil and Redline 75W90NS gearbox oil. If you are getting the K&N, it may make sense to get rid of any excess oil off the filter first.
