I am putting together a charity car show for Saturday April 12th. noon-4. The show will be held at The Heights Church. South West corner of Renner and 75 in Richardson.

There will be a combination of exotics and muscle cars. It is free to spectators. It is $10 or 5 canned goods to register a car in the show. We will have trophies for many classes.

We have some nice cars confirmed so far but we need more.

Proceeds go to local food bank.

If you are headed to the Boardwalk rally that day, come by after. The rally is over at 2:00 and the show is over at 4:00 It is in the same part of town. It is free to bring your car if you don't want to register it.

Is the organizer exempt from winning ? You have 3 class winners there already. Test drives on the famous car sales loop just south of there? Go Brian!

I'm just curious how you drove those cars over there, then home. :)

Right down the street from me, I can probably come by. The only reason I won't is if I go to the lake.

When did you buy a 968?

I am in Chicago for a trade show on the 12th so I am going to miss all the fun. :(

Don't tell me it's already gone? I thought I mentioned I would be the first right of refusal. :)
I'll try to make it - unless at the lake as well.
    Thanks Brian!

My 7 and 10 year old drove the other 2.

Actually, The 968 belongs to my office partner. The 69 Camaro is my neighbors.

I am planning on having the 550 and the 66 vette in the show. Yes Tom I still have the 66.

Tune in this Friday morning from 9- 10 am to Good Morning Texas. I will be discussing collector cars as an investment and promoting the car show.

I'm not a rally fan, so a RUF does a lot more for me than the RS200. It is a rare beast though.

Brutal speed, 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds. You couldn't ask for anything else from a such a rare group B rally racer, nothing else could touch it. I stopped by to visit with JP today & seeing that RS200 was the highlight of my tour.

That thing is awesome. What's incredible to me is that it's got a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder motor!

Brian, do you have a website or any other kind of electronic info for this show? I have some people I'd like to share the info with.

It's actually a 2.1 Liter 4 cylinder producing over 625bhp. This is one of the last, if not THE last, RS200 Evolution sold by Ford out of the original 20 they built.
