Red/Tan Testarossa (88.5 to 90) at 5:30pm Friday 2/29 going south on I-25 at arapahoe exiting Countyline, had a US Olympic sticker in it. Appeared to have a tubi (nice and shiney) but it was bumper-to-bumper traffic and he didnt get to run it up.

I was just behind it in my daily driver...... I thought about taking the QV to work, and now I wish I would have.

Nice looking car, except for the wingbadges on the side of the car, were stickers not actual badges, if the owner reads this, at least buy the Yoshi shields. :)

Nice F355 red/black at Platte River Bar on friday afternoon. He drove in and saw no parking and more chapps and leather than a bar in Uptown/Boys Town and left. Damn, I wanted to check out the car.

Also, Silver 360 that is located in Pinehurst Country Club neighborhood. I hear you drive by, just never can see you in time.

Back for Spring Break to inject some much-needed life into this thread!

Today at around 12:30pm, there was a great double-sighting at Cherry Creek Mall: just as a black Ferrari Testarossa was leaving, an incredible bright red Lamborghini Murcielago stormed up and stole the show. Here's a shot with that car's cool "scissor doors" raised; the owner is the white-haired man wearing jeans. I've seen this car before, once, and I must admit that even with all the exotica I've seen in this area, it's among the absolute most dramatic.

    Great to be back!

Last night at around midnight, there was a yellow Lotus Esprit V8 parked at 15th and Market, and today around 3pm I caught a red Dodge Viper GTS on Monaco at Exposition near George Washington High School. Both shots taken from the family's new car, which was purchased Saturday! :)

Doug, it's good to have you back for awhile. i have a question for you about the family truckster...actually about the locale in which it was taken. Does your family live on the east side of Washington Park? I know I've seen you post a pic before from that area (possibly your Audi?), the house next door has the most unique roof in the area that I've seen :)

Hey Derek - believe me it's nice to be back for a while! As for the photo, you asked me this last time! We live in Hilltop, but I took a picture of my first car there and subsequently I've done it with each new car. I had taken the first car all around the park for various photos but that one turned out the best, so I decided it was a suitable background for future vehicles. I also take new cars to this house, the same one where I took my favorite-ever car photo back in 2005. Of course, those photos never manage to be quite as awesome as the Carrera GT shot. :)

Only two spots worth mentioning in the last two days: yesterday (Monday the 11th) there was a wonderful (and likely one-owner) black BMW L6 in Cherry Creek in a parking lot on St. Paul near 2nd Avenue at around 6:30pm. For those who don't know, just as BMW was beginning making high-performance cars with the "M" (for 'motorsport') prefix, they also intended on a high-luxury line with an "L" (for 'luxury') prefix. They only manufactured the L6 and L7 for a total of two model years for the L6 and one for the L7 before giving it up. To this day I'm yet to see an L7, but this is my second L6 spot. Unsurprisingly, both cars are extremely rare.

Also, today at around 12:30pm in front of the Marriott on 1st and Clayton I saw a silver Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph, which was the (much rarer) twin to the Bentley Arnage, and the predecessor to the Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Interesting! I had figured that car was a one-owner based on its license plate (which was issued sometime between 1977 and 1992) but I guess I was wrong. It was a very cool spot and, indeed, a bit more interesting than a Boxster. :) Thanks for the kind words about my sightings - unfortunately I'm headed back to Atlanta on Friday so the thread will have to survive a couple more months without me!

Today's sightings were decent despite slightly cooler weather: at around 12:40pm I got a great photo of a red BMW Z8 northbound on Colorado Boulevard at 1st Avenue, and about 1pm I spotted a black Aston-Martin DB7 Volante on Florida temporary plates in the parking lot of Whole Foods on 1st and University.

I saw one like that on Craigslist for sale maybe about 6 months ago, around the time I bought my QV. I seriously thought about buying it. It needed alot of work, but it was only around $5k or so and they are getting more "classy" now-a-days.

Very cool cars with a very distinctive style, but certainly no 308 - you made the right choice, James!

bugatti veyron at the east entrance of the avalanche game tonight

  22. RedFerrari 355 heading south on University, approximately 4-5pm.

Bugatti Veyron parked outside Nordstrom at Park Meadows Mall. I couldn't believe how wide those things are, it didn't even fit between the lines in the parking spaces.
