I support way too many family members as it is now. Come down and borrow my crescent wrench, hammer and camera and have at it.

Did you give up on the seats with the inserts? Or are you going to put the seats from the other car in for this event then wait for what you ordered?

Don't like the look of wipers. Doubt if I'll be driving in any heavy rain.

    Hey, Jon,
I am hoping to make it to Bella Italia with the Dino Spyder 2L (from LA). Look around for me and I will do the same. Andrew

Jeff has added a few things on the website. We tried to find photos of Dino's in every color. We got quite a few. For the time being we substituted a few other models for Dino's we couldn't find. Check it out a see if you have any of the missing photos we need. They are under the resources section.

you guys are my heroes, congrats on an amazing car. You have achieved tifosi-sainthood in my book. I dream of doing something like this with my future children. Enjoy Shangri-La!!!!

Oh yeah don't forget to take it on the track!!!!!!! Enzo would be proud, especially with the Dino named after his son.

Jeff, you are one heck of a lucky kid, with a really cool dad. Don't ever take him for granted, he obviously loves you very much.

The car is great (ok, beyond great), and I'm glad that you're going to make your deadline for the show this weekend...
Which brings up the question: I'd like to come down from L.A. with my much lesser Dino, but don't know much about the show. Is/was there an entry protocol, so should I plan on parking "outside" somewhere, or is it so informal that I can just show up and end up with all the (better) Dinos?
At any rate, I'll look forward to seeing you, your son, and the car there.

    Go here for entry: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186898

Costs are minimal and includes an Italian lunch! otherwise its free to walk around if you want to park outside. Looking forward to seeing you as well!

    Beautiul job!

Any idea how many hours it took to complete, from teardown to the last piece? What would you ballpark?

Just one advice: please drive it, PLENTY. It shouldn't be garaged, kept away from water, or otherwise hidden. Beauty like that should be shared with everyone. If Enzo felt otherwise, he wouldn't have sold any of his cars to the public! ;)

    Bravo Jon,
You did IT! Seats look beautiful and seeing the car, with top and seats in place, is the finishing touch. Can't wait to see it in person. Candi and I and my Dino will stay at the Sheraton tomorrow evening and will be at the park first thing Saturday morning. Want to see you getting your picture taken and driving into place. Drive safely. Smile a lot!
    John
