    Looking at F355's. This seems to have been for sale for a while and is in the neighborhood:

    Anyone know anything about this car? Opinions (if you know or don't know the history)?

    Would Ron Tonkin be a good place to do a PPI/Leak down?

    Yes take it to RTGT for a PPI. It wil need a Major service since the last one was complete in Oct 04 it appears. It may also need a clutch. $10k or so for both. There also was a Blk 355 local car that was in a accident, this maybe that car too. RTGT will know

    i called the guy it is a SALVAGE TITLE not worth it

    There is another salvaged for $56k and it is a 355F1 with only 16k miles. Well that sucks about the P-town F355.

    A seller told me that a salvage title can mean nothing more than the car was stolen and paid for by the insurer. Is that true?? If so, what's the big deal?? After all, the typical advice to new buyers is "Drive it like you stole it:)"!
