Watch out! I heard they need new belts ever 3 years!

 

Yeah but the resale value on them is pretty strong.

 

Watch out for the counterfeit ones which have a male horse on them unlike the originals which have a female horse.

 

Used? Just ask and Yoshi will knock 20% for fchatters.

BTW, I have some used timing belts and tensioner bearings off my 355 for sale...

 

Our young member 'Zupra' had a pair he wanted to sell...haven't seen him in his Cafe in OT, do you want his contact info??

16 posts and 3 months on this forum and you come back with a remark like that?? Lighten up, maybe explain why you want USED shields and guys won't be so harsh. You buy a Ferrari and put used shields on it? Like buying a Gremlin and putting a 3K exhaust on it--Just didn't make sense...You looking to save a few bucks? Will other shields do instead of Yoshi? Explain yourself better....I won't take offense to the 348 comment because I own a 355...

The guys request was a reasonable one IMO. He has just asked if any one has a set of used badges. I my self have a couple of pairs of used metal wing badges. That i am not selling buy the way. But i do know that there is always some one who would buy them if i were selling them. They could be used for anything other than placing on a ferrari. They could be mounted and placed on an office wall or desk even.
Regarding placement of a used set of badges on a Ferrari, then why the hell not if they are in great condition. I have seen people selling used badges themselves that they have decided they do not like after fitting them and there have been several willing buyers. Very much in the same way owners buy used exhausts, body panels, seats, switches, wheels, glass and steering wheels ect ect ect.

 

Point taken, but at the same time "exhausts, body panels, seats, switches, wheels, glass and steering wheels ect ect ect." cost a helluvalot more than a set of Yoshields! I think the point is... C'mon, its a FERRARI! If you want sheilds, spring for nice new ones! If he wants them for some other purpose, he'd have saved himself alot of ribbing by simply saying... "Hey guys, I'm looking for a bargain on some used shileds to stick on my toolbox!".

All that aside, his remark was totally uncalled for.... phuckem if he cant take a joke!

True in what you are saying, i agree.
But also let me point out that the majority of Ferrari owners who use side badges. Use cheap $5 sticky back plastic badges to adorn a $100,000+ exotic. So put that way maybe if they are for a car that the poster has. Maybe he should not put a good used set of quality metal shields on the car but cheapo sticky back plastic ones.
