    Not sure what time my flight comes in that day---The DHS is payng for everything and I don't have my info yet----How far is Albuquerque from Socorro? I was told the from the airport to Socorro is like a 2 hour drive...

    Just found out Albuquerque to Socorro is about 76 miles-----If I get in before the event I will go straight there from the airport and then down to Socorro..

    I think you're going to like NM, Robby - esp. for driving; a whole lot different than what you're used to here in the mid-atlantic (my family is from Santa Fe).

    Not sure how fun the drive will be in a rental car....Will have fun blowing stuff up all week though....

    Wish I could, but the Dept. Homeland Security is paying for the trip and I fly out when they say or I pay for it myself....

    Hi, ussually all of this area of the Southwest is Windy mostly March and April. It should be a bit warmer too.
