yes I bought my PS3 to play "F1 Championship Edition" but never played it until just a few weeks ago: Sony didn't provide force feedback in the initial release, but now finally made the update available for download. The game was always terrific in HD and now we can actually tell what your car is doing. Also take a look at the video in this post: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=137584989&postcount=1 Release is this month. I'll probably end up doing a mix between GT5 prologue and F1CE: GT5 looks better (and has the cars of the 07 season as opposed to F1CE with 06), but doesn't cover all the tracks of the season. As usual I play the game in the week leading up to the real GP. That gets me into the mood and makes watching the real race more enjoyable: You'll instantly know where the cars are on the track and you know where the difficult parts of the track are.
i'm using the PS 2 only at the moment. F1 2006. well, F1 is great. i play lots of Gt 4 too, clocked about 13000+ km. currently, i got 4 wins on F1 2006, using a Toyota in hard mode. i won in Bahrain, Imola, Nurburgring & Canada so far
Possibly Napolis will be subbing for Massa? P4/5 is going to be easier to drive than this years F1. 1 -Kubica 2 -Hamilton 3 -Rosberg 4 -Heidfeld 5 -Kovalainen
Thank's for the info. The one thing I really like is getting a feel of the track, so like you say when watching for real, you know why they take such a line for one corner and your ready for the next corner, or you know when they could have a go at overtaking and such. Up to now, I know Silverstone and Suzuka like the back of my hand. Look's like I will be heading the shop's
well, after work, if i don;t hit the gym, and if i don't have classes. weekends too. about 2 weeks ago, i was racing the 24 hours of Le Mans. power went off when i was into the 19 hour. did all 19 hours by myself, and the damn power went off. talk about unlucky
Damn, you're die hard! I admire that. I don't even play full F1 races, but 19 hours on Le Mans. Awesome dude! The power outage was the stewards' way of telling you, that there is a time limit for each driver competing in the 24 hours.
... and my prediction is: 1. Massa (he need win like no one. he will be a winner or screamer) 2. Hamilton (this time podium is the place where he would be on it) 3. Kimi (curse) 4. Kubica 5. Heiki 6. Heidfeld 7. Alonso 8. Rosberg
I bow down in your presence, what position were you running before the electric failure? Did you throw or break anything when the power went off?
He'd be better to throw it into the gravel trying to get on the podium than be ultra safe and finish out of the points!
1. Massa - He needs to perform well, and he won here last season. 2. Hamilton 3. Raikkonen 4. Kovalainen 5. Heidfeld 6. Kubica 7. Trulli 8. Alonso
Difficult one to call that Ian, I see your take on it , but I feel it would be more of a sensible option to finish a race rather than not ,and he really does need to finish a race and take the pressure of himself. I think the way the point system is , it favour's consistency.
It is a tricky one, Steve. Either way it's a bit of a lose - lose situation for Massa. If he has no car trouble but finishes out of the points he'll be given a hard time and it will be exactly the same if he has an off. To take the pressure off himself I think he needs to do very well and score good points this weekend, so I'd expect to see him really trying rather than just making sure he gets it round.
I don't know about your sexual orientation, but except for the uniform (I would have been Riker from Star Trek) I would have not had any problem being in Max's place with 5 women. Now two is about all I can handle at this point in life, but damn, I give the guy credit for having five all to himself. I don't care what newspaper this would have appeared in, its like the commercials for EDS pills like Viagra, they tell you if you have an erection for more than four hours to call a doctor. If I had an erection for more than four hours I would be calling the newspapers myself, I'd be e-mailling all of my friends, I'd rent that empty billboard on I-95. Bring on the cameras, I am going to flaunt it.
well, Le Mans isn't that hard, sure it gets bored after a while, but when i raced the Nurburgring 24 Hours, i nearly went mad. the corners, and all, and the 'Ring is a much much cruel circuit. as for F1, i race 75% race distance. i'm using the standard controller. it really hurts my fingers even at the 75% race distance of the original length.
