210 Freeway Area Drive Event?

I'm gonna try to do both. Would be nice if someone has a passenger thats willing to film a little and I can cut it. Very hard to do both at the same time.

I'm going to be a putz/schmuck and bail on this event, sorry. It's a buddy's birthday, and there'a a local British car show he's rather hit with our kids in tow.

fire away! that's something me and dilan were trying to work out earlier today, but i didnt know of any restaurants in the area. I have been to the new part of claremont off indian hill before [where the laemmle and mediterranean/fondue/american apparel are at] but couldnt think of any of the restaurants in the area. if we're all going to eat, we should call ahead and let 'em know we have a sizeable party coming in.

 

d'oh! I know a few of us will be dropping by there [the Porsche thing]. Hopefully we can all meet up there, too.

Lets see how many will show in the morning. We can discuss this over coffee. There are plenty of places to eat in Rancho. Parking is the main issue.

Is it going to be a brunch or lunch? considering we're meeting up around 7:30am, do you think we'll be done with the drive around 10:45am and lunch around 11am?

Both old Village and the new Village in Claremont (Indian Hill) are great. When I put together Mt. Baldy Run a few years ago, we did a lunch at the Harvard Square in the old Village. The parking was a problem, and we had to park all over the area (including a Ferrari Enzo several blocks away from the restarurant). Also there's a farmer's market/flea market in the Village every Sunday making parking situation even worse. The new Village can be a good option (with a large parking structure), but the cars won't be visible from the restaurant.

How about the Old Town Upland? If we finish up the drive on Euclid Ave., we can come down on Euclid to the old town Upland. We can grab something to eat there and if you guys are up for cigars and wines, there's a really nice cigar/wine place in the Old Town Upland that I go frequently.

Walters in Claremont has parking. Also in La Verne Grape Vine is a great resturant with plenty of parking if you guys like Kebobs.

 

Sounds good. Yeah, parking seems to be the only problem with anywhere we eat. I'd love to just do Victoria Gardens, but no way will we find parking on a Sunday. We'll see.
