Its all build from scratch. No trans kit was used in this project. I never use transkits. I do all by myself.

    on this link: http://scaleplasticcars.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8593
you can se how did i do it :) so i hope it will help you build one.

Rims are volk racing 19', Seats are home build resin, brakes Hiroboy resin, seat belts are PE Eduard 4point racing seat belts, exhaist pipes and rollbar are modified plastic trees that holds parts together in box, white plastic that i used is 0.1 / 0.7 mm stiren plastic, wing and seat holders are from Red Bull can :) ... if you have any questions just ask me.

(but not my piece of cake, its no handbuild (lol).
Azur is quite rare. It was a very small company that made several BBurago's transversions. The 250GTO David Piper, the Swedish 250GTO (bleu/yellow stripe) (somebody in here has the piper one), an F40LM (was quite good) and a 500F2 based on a Tonka modell! Never heard of them since the beginning of the 1990's

Just found this thread. Haven't been on F-chat for a while. There are some great models on here. I attempt to make models that I can't find for my Le Mans collection
I'm trying to build the 512 BB LM IMSA from Le Mans 1978.

The finished model is the Tron example.

Base model I'm using is a Solido 512 BB.
    Extra bodywork is plasticard.
Can anyone tell me what the decals on the light covers and below the fuel filler should be ?

Hi guys, my first post here... (I usually just lurk in the Lamborghini section)

This might be of interest; based on a 1:43 BBR kit, cut down to a Straman conversion and finished in genuine Ferrari Sera Blue.
Also, my 1:43 Dino 246GTS (MR Collection kit), although the only thing 'custom' about this one is the colour and the genuine Schedoni leather luggage in the back, including a Prancing Horse clasp on the handbag :)

Both were built especially for me by Garage43.

Hi mate you should check out fellow fchat member Apegen's website as he did a mod on the exact model with a 1/18 Chrono BB512.

My pleasure mate. Are you planning to make a 1:18 or 1:43? Cause in your last post you mentioned a Solido BB512 which I believe is nonexistent in the 1:18 world?

All my Le Mans cars are 1/43.

I have some 1/18 but gave up collecting them due to lack of space.

My other project at the moment is creating all the 512S longtails at the 1970 Le Mans using the "Ferrari Collection" cars as a donor model.

I have tried my first attempt at creating home-made decals.

Not perfect but I'm quite pleased with the results.

Just some finishing touches to complete the two I've done so far.

Tron made the one in the picture.

I can't find the Tron version so I decided to try to make one myself :)
