Exactly, like anywhere else in the world.............2008 F430s today in Egypt are about 6% cheaper than 2007 F430s in terms of Egyptian Pounds. The US Dollar has dropped about 6% against the Egyptian Pound in the last year. 6% is almost US$12k...........about the cost of the CC brakes option in 2007. Therefore, I could also argue that the CC brakes are a free option in 2008 because the price of the F430 with CC brakes in Egyptian Pounds in 2008 is the same as the price of the F430 without CC brakes in Egyptian Pounds in 2007.
the 430 price in australia has increased by about the same amount as a set of FREE carbon brakes, funny that.
Omg, dollar has made cars EXTREMLY cheap in the US =( 30% discount or more to Europe. That makes CS more expensive then a new 430 in the US ? Amazing.
I priced a 2008 430 Spider at FOO today, base price is $283,900 (6 speed / ceramic brakes) If I put in an order this week I can have the car in August 08. Prices are down and may continue to drop.
So what info do you have about the engine? larger V8 or smaller turbo engine? A twin turbo 3.5liter engine, with direct injection, 180hp/liter- windingroad..some months ago Is realy the turbo engine the future for F-cars?
No info, only assumptions............Ferrari can't use the same F430 engine block anymore for increased NA power. That engine has reached it's maximum output. Therefore, it's either a 5 liter or more complete new NA engine or a 3.6 to 4.3 liter TT engine. A 5.0 liter or more NA engine means a larger heavier engine and in turn a heavier car. If the aim is to produce a powerful light weight car, Ferrari should go with a small TT V8.
whats about a V10 (old f1 engine) light and sexy => nice model planning => entry level car V 8 / (mid) engine race car V10 / high end car V12
My source tell me that Ferrari will eventually come out with a replacement car for the F430, and that it is likely to have 4 wheels and tires, plus a steering wheel, seats, an engine, and many other things................ And, my source is very reliable.................
Are you confident this information is true................I will base my decisions on your information.
Ferrari is having a clearance sale? LMAO! Scuderia will have in effect a 2 year build. I don't see the 430 replacement being sold before then. On top of that, the NA market usually lags behind the other markets by six months or so ... Bottom line - It'll be awhile. Buy the 430S now, enjoy it for a couple of years, then trade for the new car if you like the new one better. Some folks like the CS more than the 430S. If they hadn't bought the CS and waited, they would be disappointed and having to buy the CS on the secondary market. If you have a chance of getting a 430S now, do it. You might not get a second chance.
Yes, we are expecting a major change, maybe something close to Mille Chille- project ( 1 000kg's), so the approach could be something never seen. F142 should be delivered 1st quarter 2010, and Scud production finished. So, If Your waiting for Scud would be two years, I would go for new model instead! That beeing said, Scuderia is best car so far!! wbrgds, Petri
Nice! Is this your first 430? I love mine but hate the fact that I paid about 20K higher plus CCBs last year. I bought mine from Sergio at F of Ontario, real nice guy.
Yes, It will be my first 430, I want to trade my 2002 360 spider and my 1988 328 gts + a little more money and make a deal. I'll know within a week, there coming over to have a look and give me value for both of my cars.
