How can you tell what the manufacturer is? anyone know?
It should have a label, stamp, embosed, or at least a part number on it unless it's a custom made exhaust.
I couldnt find one on there anywhere. Here is a Pic Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
well being homemade, what might it be worth? I am going to try to sell it on Ebay. I am thinking $200
Where is the other inlet pipe? I'm not too familiar with 328 exhausts, but I assume they are similar to 308s, and there should be a second pipe coming out of it to connect to the second CAT. It should be a dual exhaust all the way to the muffler. Yes?
You got me? I am n ot sure of that, you would know better than I would. if is doesnt have one, what else could this be for?
1984 and later US version 308/328 only use 1 cat (the exhaust streams from the two banks are connected together upstream of the cat -- hence only one inlet to the muffler). Here's the illustration from the US 328 OM, and it's the same illustration in the '84-'85 US 308QV OM (and seems to match the mounting points, too, on that "custom" system): Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well there you go, I just looked at the 328 I have sitting here, and that is what I am seeing also. Thanks 91tr
Just for camparison, here is the Tubi on my 1986 328. I removed the lower grill to get these shots. Note the I.D. plate with s/n, and the letters "328" cut out on the mounting tabs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
