Anyone know how rare this is? How much it worth these days?

Also what about the BBR174B which is the convertible version of the 512BB in red?

Not too good with BBRs, help appreciated!

512BB in red from BBR has dropped in value because Looksmart, and especially make up makes a better one, value is around $100,- with box in proper condition.
512BB spider is rarer as a factorybuilt, its mainly produced as a kit around $145 for a factorybuilt modell.

These prices are made on ebay for secondhand BBR's, retailprices from dealers like Cavallinomodels are a bit higher, from them you buy a new one so its price is justified!

I would go for the Make Up its cheaper and better! ( and I am a BBR collector since 1988)

white 512BB = make up, 512BBspider is a BBR kit by me.

Heco/ miniatures du chateau built some stunning Ferrari's in the 1990's. When Ferrari regulated licensing, production ended. Their classic are superb.
I have 22 Heco's, they are still amung my favourites.
The Koenig TR is reissued for Raccoon, A while back I got the original in its original never opened box, a real timewarp.

From the different cooling vents which only a Burago F40 has, it can be easily reckoned that the 1/18 is based on a Burago F40.

The 1/18 F40 IMSA version shown, was built from a base Burago body.
A few Robustelli parts were used, but the majority on this model was scratch built.
That includes the front body panel with the open vents. Wheels are machined from Aluminum, engine received new exhaust pipes, interior is mostly Robustelli and scratch made parts.
I am not the builder of this exceptional model, a good friend of mine a professional large scale builder, does this for a living!
I am more specialized in 1/43 scale models/sets.
You can see other threads on this forum (WOLFMAN) were I have shown special built models and sets.

Yea I saw at once that this is (sort of) a Robustelli kit on a bBurago F40. There are numerous differences that I see namely the wheels. I've got pictures floating about here somewhere of my F40 model too. The Robustelli kit just isnt enought to make a good model and I too had to have my builder custom make a large number of items

The Model Factory Hiro 1/24 F40LM and GTE kits are better than converting
a 1/18th scale Burago. I had the Robustelli ArtSports 1/18th F40LM transkit and it had some very nice photoetch and white metal parts along with machined wheels but it required alot of scratch building to complete. The
Hiro kits have correct engine/gearbox moldings, correct wheels, correct bodywork ect. and also tons of photoetch. It makes any diecast based
    project look crude.

I no longer have these. I sold the project to someone in England. I believe they are all sold out.
