I think Micheal owned all of the cars in that particular corral that day. I have seen the 575 Superamerica, Yellow F430, Rubino 612, along with some others in the ROSSO magazine.

What exactly does the guy drive? His collection is amazing, but does he drive these things? If they are more of a collection...then what cars does he like to drive?

I'm sure he paid a lot for it, and I'm sure he has some great cars, but honestly that one doesn't excite me much at all. I guess it's different.

I think some Ferraris, like the 355, can carry off white and still look interesting, but the 599/612 really need richer colors, IMO. I saw a magnificent black metallic 612 at Symbolic in San Diego, and that was what really made the 612 design come to life for me.

(Bias disclaimer: I think the 599 is technically impressive, but aesthetically dull, so take my comments with that in mind.)

I saw his white 599 & 612 at Cavallino. Pretty daring lack of color but not my choice.

Believe he only owns this one taken by me at the Orlando Festival of Speed. Must say he and his wife are very nice people. Also, I caught a little video of him starting up the FXX….such an awesome day.

The thread seems to be about Michael Fux; sucessful Florida business man. He also had his boat parked at turn 10 for the recent IRL race to. A sort of Monaco for the masses.
The thing that really seems to get peoples' attention about Michael Fux is his unrivaled access to the Ferrari production line including custom work 'done to order' that is beyond the basic options. He always seems to have another personalized Ferrari in the pipeline. He likes to promote the idea that ordering a Ferrari is not about checking off red exterior with tan interior on the order sheet. Rather it is about creating a special look for your Ferrari. Lately the 'single color' theme inside and out has been strong...

Which one was his? I'm guessing Sorcha? I saw his white on white 599 parked at the marina. Looks pretty amazing...

Uro: He's the memory foam mattress guy.

I didn't know he was Cuban, until my father told me something like that.

There was a brief clip showing the boat as he was interviewed on the pre-race show on TV. I didn't clearly catch the name of the boat but it was longer than the Sorcha name...

I just heard yesterday the Michael Fux's car collection will be displayed at the Festivals of Speed at the Ritz in Orlando on October 25th, and Festivals of Speed event in Miami on November 15!!!

I'm pretty sure that the Miami event actaully benefits to charity for the Michael Fux Foundation "IOAF" so I'm guessing all his new cars are going to be there! I live in the St. Pete area and LOVED the event there, so my husband and I are going to have to down to both shows.

    Anyone else going?

Not to be indelicate, but how does he pronounce his last name?

It depends from what country, he migrated here from Cuba so maybe the "u" is used as "u" and not a "o" as in the word fox.

I heard he invented the post-it note. And white-out.

Post-It Notes was invented by Art Fry, 1974 http://www.snopes.com/business/origins/post-it.asp

Michael Nesmith's (The Monkeys) mother invented Liquid Paper correction fluid.

As it turns out, Michael Fux was indeed the foam mattress manufacturer from New Jersey who is now a movie producer...

I've had one of his Sleep Innovations foam pads on my bed for several years.

His collection is amazing! The most notable to me are the Aston DBR9, the FXX, the F1 car driven by Schumacher & Barinchello - then there are the really unusual ones like the yellow on yellow RR - Scuderia Spyder with white leather....and the list goes on...
he lives in Miami and is regular figure on the local scene.
