So Jon, what color are you leaning towards for the currently black Dino? I love the Rosso Dino and Rosso Cordoba from the colors you posted (also liked some of the darker blues, but you already have a blue one).

I think it's fantastic. Is it period correct? You'll have to pick the right interior colors to go with it to set it off correctly and ensure it does not look wierd. Perhaps a medium to light grey interior with dark grey carpets? A brownish (not too light, not too dark) tan (darker than your blue car) interior might also work. You could end up making the equivalent of Sackey's former SV with the lime green exterior with electric blue interior. A color combo that when described you would think it does not work, but when seen in the flesh is stunning. Now everyone is making a copy of it in those colors (no imagination).

It was a stock color offered on the Dino at the time. I knew YOU would like the color.. Great taste. I'll have to find my bellbottoms and paisley shirt to wear if I do that color

The "do not paint" list would include avorio safari and giallo senape. Those early 70's earth tones.... yuck... I remember when my mom painted the stained wood kitchen cabinents avacodo green. I still don't know what she was thinking.

I'm really liking the lime green and the darker shades of green.

    Jon,
Viola Metalic would just work but it is on the edge. As you noted, a little feminine. Maybe a little darker? Any Ferrari green is way over the edge. The English can do green but the Italians are hopeless.

Yes it was, but supposedly it was nice enough to become an option.

I am buying a 355 in Swatters Blue. Any pictures of other cars in the color?? Ever been a Dino in that color?? Think it would look great, based on the photos I've seen of the 355....
Looked at a 355 in Verde Anglais or whatever the lingo is for BRG... It actually looked terrible IMHO. A very flat color, no depth, shows all chips and nips like black, too.

The history of that color is great, the first 206 Prototype (VIN #10523) had that color from new. If you don't choose the original one (what I would do) Viola is an option. And don't forget tinking about Verde Medio, would match to the blue GTS. I've seen an 365 GT 2+2 in this color, great (and has nothing to do with british racing green).
