I think they´re true, the American flags appeared at Indianapolis one week later.

Schumacher used a quite nice helmet for that race.

Or because he is a professional.

Lots of people know someone who died in those attacks, I myself knew dozens at a minimum. However we all still went back to work afterwards. So did Montoya.

I won't criticize him for doing his job under those circumstances. Is he any different from F1 drivers in bygone eras getting back into the car after one of them died? I am sure they had heavy hearts too but they still drove.

It still amazes me that Ferrari was able to pull this off. Ferrari gets tens of millions in sponsorship money per race and managed to get that all taken off the car. Perhaps there is some good in this world.

Phillip Morris is an american company. They own all the space on the car, which they sell to other sponsors. It was probably pretty easy for them to do that for that one race given the circumstances.

It probably gave them more publicity as well by being the sponsors allowing their logo's to be taken off the Ferrari's

IIRC, Ferrari spoke 1st with all of their sponsors before running on an empty car. i remember Luca said that the sponsors understand the situation, and were willing to co=operate..
