any manufacturer cross ref data for a 1980 carb 308 GTS master cylinder reservoir ? (or master cylinder ?) cheers, d
Please don't use the word "Cheap", it sounds too much like where I work. I prefer to use the words, "Cost Effective" or "Thrifty Solution"
in yorkshire where i come from lad, "cheap" is "cheap" ... no frills, no fluffiness, no bulls**t ! edwardo, it looks like this, but many thanks anyway. cheers, david Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mnn, RH drive, thus Pantera sites would be able to provide an option. Pantera is the only other car I have ever seen the 4 bolt master cylinder on. LH and RH ones are same casting but with holes for pipes on opposite sides. It is also possible to replace that 4 bolt half of the booster housing with a Dodge mini van part and then use a racing Dodge master cylinder (match the bore size to get similar brake feel). Someone did that to my 308GT4. Try http://www.pim.net Gerrit http://dino308gt4.com
Isn't a genuine new one only about fifty quid from Classic Parts or Eurospares ? If they have no stock then perhaps its a Fiat or Alfa part (105's use two small separate reservoirs which might fit)
I just checked superformance and they have the master cylinder listed but they don't have the resvervoir on their website. Maybe give them a call http://www.superformance.co.uk/a-308/brakes.htm I couldn't see it listed on Eurospares, its not numbered seperately on their diagram http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=676&A=1&B=39844&S= Image Unavailable, Please Login
