Do you guys remember that black 355...

What I want to know is Fchat user(ratedx), bought this car damaged--Did he fix it up and attempt to resell it as recently as yesterday before the Ebay ad was pulled??? RatedX are you the seller on Ebay of this car or did you sell it off to someone who recently tryed to sell it on Ebay??

i faxed him the attached purchase agreement- which he never signed, never replied via ebay, i spoke with him three times monday night, said i was getting a flight and will be there tommorrow with the money....he said tuesday he was building a house on the shore ( he a very busy builder) and 60 grand wasnt alot of money to him and kept tring to get me to wire the money..

late last night i called to make arrangement told me the car had been sold.- wtf !

i have a check in my hand from bank make out to me and him and was supposed to fly out to NJ... Spoke to him and his wife at home and on their cells..... they made it sound like 100's of people where calling and it was first wire first serve...total east coast asses- - said ferraris are impulsive buys, didnt want to close thru ebay, didnt want to take a deposit, paypal, wanted only an immediate wire transfer.- Never once did he mentioned the car was wrecked- I told him i will be there today - he said he wouldnt be home and will call me tuesday

in the meantime i got the records myself from wide world of cars - Kevin and Justin- ran the carfax, the 355registry and connected the dots..

i called the dealer the verifed the windshield, replaced bumber and left rear quarter panel and shocks mounts all where worked on..... and this morning i just saw the pictures....of the wreck

alledgely ---ratedx aka Frank Schilling bought the car on ebay a few months ago for $37,500 wrecked- fixed it up and tried to sell it as clean for 56,500- shame on you piece of ****

I pm'ed him today asking if he was going to reply to this. He has been on line since then so he does know about it. I agree, he should either explain himself or get the perma-ban. (And then get banned too, it seems, anyway.)

 

Did anyone ever prove that Frank and ratedx are the same person?

 

And therein lies my dilema.

Can't ban him it if I don't know this to be he case, can I?

I disapprove of his (apparent) behavior, but I see no point in a ban (for whatever that's worth).

 

Actually I agree, the error he made was not on here, but within Ebay....If it is found out that Frank is ratedx then I would hope most on this board will shun him for eternity.... no one responds to his threads or posts, etc.... Everyone can put him on Ignore and we can pretend he doesn't exist...!!

 

I've done some digging and if the information in post #28 is correct (and I believe some of it should be elided), then there is proof that ratedx and Frank are the same person.

However, I'm not aware of people being banned from Fchat because they were being slimy hypocrites and thieves based on their actions off the board. See awhite as an example. People do get banned for their behavior on the board or related to the board (e.g. taking an on-board argument off the board and making it into some kind of personal confrontation). Otherwise, I believe we've left it up to users to treat the offender in whatever fashion they see fit, including publicizing his offenses, as long as that conforms to board rules.
