Lucky! Does anyone remember the yellow 355 Spider crash at Pak'n'Sav in Hamilton a few years ago? That was my cousins friends car...His dad never let him drive any other cars that their family owned unless he bought one himself Silly fool.
Close, it was a 355GTB in fly yellow, it was a respray (from Rossa Corsa i believe), i have plenty of photos on my old hard drive, the owner of the car is a very nice guy, i have spoken to him a few times, once in depth about this incident, lots of rumors, the true story is interesting. That car is now located in Christchurch and is being rebuilt, there was major damage.

Hey man, Great thanks! Yeah I usually just read and learn rather than post. The AGM was awesome, I have not laughed so much in a long time. Book it in for 2009 in Hawkes Bay now!!! The DeLorean info was that you were going to find out any info on the NZ club you saw at some show. You recalled a few cars on display with a banner advising a club or something?? Any info is appreciated as I keep hitting brick walls with the minor things I need done. I have the car back home now and have both cars next to each other for the first time. The DeLo is lower than the F430!!! I could not believe it!!! I got the white coat and now just need the white hair LOL

Mate, i have just been through all my photo's from car shows over the last 4 years, i found 2 photos of a DeLorean, one was a privately owned car and the other is in Southwards Museum. I remember the cars we spoke about, and i am positive i have a photo of them somewhere, unfortunately i have no idea when or which show they were at. I'll be at the next fun run rain, hail or shine (probably one of the first two seeing as winter has just hit hard). I haven't heard anything about the next run yet but assume it'll be in the next 3 weeks. I do like those roads on and off state highway 16 heading up north. I hope we are heading that way!

LOL, not sure who will be my victim this time. My 5 y.o. son on one run said to me "why is it called a fun run when it's not fun at all?" he then somehow managed to fall asleep in the car while we were chasing down a sweet sounding Testarossa. Can't say too many people would have done that before LOL I have it on good authority that that the run will be very similar to the Christmas Lunch run but ending up at a different restaurant. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! I love the roads up that way.
Haha, yeah, i remember your son falling asleep on that run, very trusting That testarossa was being driven hard that day too. Cool, the christmas run was sweet, looking forward to another one like that. Mum might not feel like lunch when we arrive
