    Hey guys,

    Just wanted to post the 2 picture I took on the Sat drive to Laughlin for the river run. After making it threw the 20+ highway patrol on the ground and the plane in the air (No joke)...:( we stoped just outside of Needles at cottonwood cove for lunch (first picture). After eating lunch we couldn't deside on were to go from there so we flipped a coin, heads back to Las Vegas and tails to Laughlin, as you can see from the title it was tails. When we got into Laughlin we turned onto the main drag and was stuck in trafic with what seemed like 1000 bikes. There were so many bike's that it took about 25min to go about 1 mile to the Golden Nugget. When we pulled into the Golden Nugget they were kind enough to move other cars and put us up front...:) Once we were all parked the crowd started, you would have thought it was a car show. It went from looking at bikes to looking at the exotics. The way back was just as bad. We must have passed at least 20 cops...:( we never really got to open them up...:(

    Not for us...:) All the bikes going to Laughlin. I think they said there were something like 200K people (I think)...:confused:

    Been there, done that a few times - yesterday would indeed have been busiest day of the year - picture 60,000 bikes jam-packed into one mile of Hog Heaven and the parking lots [there's one lot [Edgewater] that if it were water, most people wouldn't be able to swim across in any direction - a sea of chrome], and buzz-killing Pigs from all over, too... all over the map, no matter where one turned... or went straight... an oink-oink here, an oink-oink there, here an oink, there an oink, everywhere an oink-oink-oink-oink-oink.

    Last year [25th anniversary of River Run] - not only would it have taken longer - You would not have been able to park in that spot - no way, no how - a Lambo [red, IIRC] turned in with hopes dashed... uh-uh - that was reserved for a special selection of bikes on Saturday - one of which was voted best - then a contingent of Euro-built Harleys marked the spot and called it home for a day... hell, you wouldn't have been able to park there on Wednesday, either! So, count your blessings, as you were indeed, fortunate. At least 'til you played Craps...
