Had some time this weekend to clean up some interior issues. Had some sticky vents and targa latches. I was able to find all the info I needed to fix and refinish these parts with a quick forum search. Car looking much nicer already!

Just wanted to say thanks to those who have posted documented "fix it" threads in the past for folks like me that would not otherwise have any idea on these things.

I second that motion... for those of us that don't know, those of you who take the time, and make the effort, deserve a round of drinks and a pat on the back...I've been able to fix so many things that I would have been absolutely clueless about because of your efforts.

    Thank you....

+5 If you all come down here I'll shout the drinks :D

Seriously, the information provided by this site is unreal, last time I picked up my car from the shop the service manager (Ferrari trained) asked me how I sorted out the interior and the wing mirror housings, I spent a few minuets explaining the processes to him and drove off feeling smug, I just told the service manager of a Ferrari dealership how to fix something on a Ferrari. This site rules!!!! :D

I have been the benficiary of so many ideas from the Fchat membership that when I sold my 77 308 GTB the trunk was filled with five ring binders of columns I had printed for use or reference. Now that I have a 348 things haven't changed. This site has some of the most helpful people around. Thnaks to the many who have shared their knowledge and experiences with the rest of us.

I agree totally. For an idiot working on this type of car, ( I would never dare call myself a mechanic), the pooled knowledge and help received on here is just amazing. I did my Hyperflows myself, e-brake adjustment, and an oil change last week, none of which I knew how to do last year at this time.
NOW, if we could just keep everything corgial and non-argumentative so as not to scare of those with so much knowledge to share.

    Well shucks, thanks guys.

Let us not forget my fellow Stooge fatbillybob, he was a tremendous help with my gearbox rebuild. How about Fraser's excellent slow window fix, and NoDoubt's awesome primer page.

It's all about the Brotherhood. Post what ever little fix you find, it all adds up boys, and it benefits us all.
