Who cares about the prices now? YOU get what you get at the time of the sale you can speculate the prices all day. If your looking for an investment buy something other than a car. Just drive the damn thing and stop worring about what you will get? Iam tired of reading this every time I get on here

Until the government gets it hands out of the market and the dollar settles, the value of ALL of our toys is LOW , temporary, but low. The guides are always high on retail and low on wholesale. And the 355 is the next Italian Classic!

You guys have it all wrong. Remember when you could get Dinos (1992-1995) 308s and 328s (1995-2006) for a song? Dinos were considered a lesser ferrari at the time..... It is all about rarity. For the win.......348 Spider....only 560+/- imported and 1,000 +/- built, for the record that is less than build numbers for the F40. The cheesegraters define a generation.. much like fins on an early caddie or other "defining" marks on collectors cars. Cars that have unique era "defining" features and small build numbers will stand the test of time over performance, quirks, etc. IMHO

I have to agree. Look at good clean cars at dealerships right now.

This one is a 1998 with 25k miles for $98,500.

So all of you saying that price is crazy, well the dealer will get these prices. I did quick search on cars.com and autotrader and found over 30 cars for sale over $100k.

NADA bases its prices off sales, not just numbers from thin air.

I went on Realtor.com and saw almost 1000 homes for sale in Phoenix for $1,000,000......

The dealerships won't get their prices. Just because people are asking over 100k doesn't mean they will get a single offer. 30 for sale over 100? How about 50 for sale under $70k. Who is going to get the offer?? 355s over $100k are dreaming.

Ferrari of Denver will not get ANY offers in the 90s. Or 80s for that matter. I have a friend who has a 99 with less miles on his that he would sell for 80k in a heartbeat. I am sure others know people who would do the same. Another pristine 355 just sold here for $57k not long ago. And I think it was a 99. Thus, no one is buying FoD's car.

Those 355 prices look a tad high, IMO, although 360 prices are softening with the increased inventory.

I think the 355 is a better looking and sounding car, but from what I have seen this spring prices aren't too strong.

That said, go and drive and enjoy it.

I agree in principal, but wouldn't necessarily be so aggressive about it. I think most owners understand it's not an investment, no need to harp on that. It's just fun to guess what the value curve looks like going forward...makes us owners feel good to come up with reasons why our toys will be worth more in the future :D Just being honest here! And for prospective owners...they need a thread to show their wives to justify why this Ferrari purchase isn't tooo crazy.

I agree. I'm not looking to retire on the proceeds from my car (328), but I admit I think about the depreciation on the modern cars (360, AM V8, etc.) and it makes the maintenance costs a lot easier to shrug off.

If you look closer at the Titanium spider it has been in an accident and there is something up with the black berlinetta as well, I just dont remember what. I am shoping for another 355 and have been following the prices really close and I know of several that look like great deals but are cars to stay away from. With that said there are some good cars out there right now at great prices.
