    Does anyone know the purpose of the yellow warning lt. that is in the speedo face, between the turn signal indicators? It comes on when you start the engine and then goes out after awhile.

    Hello, my light is red it stays on until the water warms up.

    +1. My former Mondial QV had the yellow warning light. It is just an indicator to let you know that the coolant hasn't warmed enough. I let the car idle until that light went out.

    Yes that's what it is. I downloaded the 1983 manual (thank you Ferrarichat) and it verifies what you say.
