Has anyone experienced o2 warning lights or check engine lights after installing high flow cats? I want to install some Hyper flows on my 97 355 but my Mechanics says it is common to have warning lights after switching to high flow. If anyone has experienced this problem or knows a way to avoid it any info would be appreciated.

I just had them installed with Fabspeed headers, included new O2 sensors - after 150 miles cel 1-4 came on, then off, etc. Appears to have been bad connection and is fixed - unrelated to new cats. Everything worked great for over a week.

Thanks for the input Jay. I bought Fabspeed cats and headers now so we'll see what happens when I have them put on in a couple of weeks.

If you get a CEL it usually is not from the hi flow cats ---O2 sensor maybe...

Rob did you get the high flow cats from fab when you got the headers? I was unsure but finally took the chance yesterday and fab has them on the way to me.

Just had Fabspeed cats installed on my car due to CEL. The OEM cats set off the CEL and now all is good for the car. The car was smogged in CA and passed if that helps.

We have intalled lots of hyper-flow cats, and never (touch wood) had a CEL problem, I have heard of it on early 360's but it was due to improper instalation of the O2 sensors.
we have also install a few Fab-speed headers, again with no problem's. Both company's make excellent products and from a shop's stand point, they stand behind their systems. If you have issues I would look towards a sensor and/or instalation issue, I would never question another mechanics work , but We have never had an issue with either of these company's products

After spending a great deal of time running down SD light and CEL light problems I replaced the three ECU'S and now The SD light is off but the R&L cats trigger the CEL and show up as bad cats on the dealer's print out. Who makes replacement cats and/or who rebuilds them? Thanks
