I don't know who you are, but what is your problem???? I have a guy that spends $10K on 2 custom built models, and requested that I do not post any of his photos anywhere, I think he has that right. I am sorry you seem to have a fog light fettish. OK, he has fog lights all over his car, front, back, even in the trunk area, are you happy now?

The F40 is already packed for shipment, so I have no more photos, but thanks again for the comments.

    Great job Stephane! Cool pics.

Just so you know, I live in Australia and the Ferrari F40 was never made commercially available here for general road use (something to do with power to weight ratios and the Government not liking it for use on public roads!), therefore this means there is essentially no ADR compliace that needs to be met in this respect, the owner of the real thing could have procured his version from any country on the planet and imported it, and if it is used for very limited road use (permit only as an enthusiast vehicle), or mostly track days (which I suspect is more likely), there would be no enforced requirement for fog-lights!

Thanks, and I agree with the fog light issue. I am sure that his F40 is only used on tracks anyways.

Partly correct. If it was imported "in period" the car was normally purchased through Maranello imports and was an English specification car. If it was imported after production ceased the car could have come from anywhere in the world. These days it can be tricky importing anything made from 1989 onwards due to changes in the import laws, so anything imported recently is likely to be prior to 1989 production.

As for driving it on the road in the land of Oz- forget it legally. It is too young to be registered under LHD or Club rego laws. Temporary permits are issued specifically for the purpose of driving to the rego agency to get the thing registered. You can get "event permits" for certain road rallies that have CAMS approval and that is the only temporary road driving you can do.

If anyone tells you any different, they are wrong. Been there done that with my F50 which I now only use on the track a couple of times a year.
