    Patrick Richart,

I just pulled up my notes on your car, your service man was quite explicit about the extent of the damage to the bumper and RR quarter, and that you were waiting for the insurance appraiser to authorise the repair... if it was a perfect fix at $2k, why would a man of your means file a claim? you told me about your Enzo, your 599, your cgt, etc so this repair is just pocket change for such a player as you.

you told me yourself about FoSF and the blown clutch.

values for damaged and properly repaired ferrari's are generally 15-20% below perfect car market value. I got that rule of thumb from Dave at Premier, and others in the market, and the sale of marc yahr's car by the original owner at $175k with 4K miles bears that out. the value of your car is whatever the market will bear.

Maybe he forgot...........again. It is becoming apparent that in the Stradale world there are no secrets.

That Ferrari is the same color and interior trim combination as the Motor Trend test car. The MT car was suffering from a less than perfect clutch so it could not deliver it's true speed potential when flogged against the Porsche GT3... They still liked it better than the Porsche; especially the Ferrari carbon brakes.

    Is this the same car?

I looks like it could be since it has the same interior (with the same alcantra/leather colors and mix, same warning sticker still on the console, no radio and no fire ex.)
I have to think there is some story on this car, or it would have sold by now (it's been on Ebay multiple times).

Not sure about the other CS wrecked. I cannot believe that I just read that you sold your Giallo CS. I was bidding against you on that car Kuzi. I begged Tom from Motorcars Las Vegas to give it to me but you alraeady snagged it. I would have given you the money now if it new it was for sale. Glad it went to you though. By the way, I love your collection.

    New CS specs are:

    Silver
    No Stripe
Black full alcantera witrh red stitching
    5100 miles
    one owner

    Yes it is.

You are a very fortunate that you get to see it once in a while. It is truly an amazing combination and if I could have found one I would have passed up the silver. Maybe I will find one in the near future. Let your friend know that when he is ready to sell to shoot me a PM.....LOL.

Great to finally talk/write. Keep up the good work on the collection.

Anyone here know the history of the Giallo CS at Ferrari of Newport Beach? Looks like a nice one.

I tell you, instead of bidding against each other, the Ferrarichatters should collaborate and do a rock paper scissors on each car to decide who gets it!
