Great read, but I still want Massa to won the title. Plus wasn't it Kimi's 7th season in F1 last year and it took even him to wait till then. Although there was a small question of Michael and Ferrari's amazing years. I still believe in Massa and with smedly's help he should still be improving. Ferrari deffinetly believe in him, especially when he's signed for a year longer than Kimi.

Felipe going into his 3 season in top-team
Kimi going into his 7 season in top-team

Kimi might be the current favorite for the title, but Massa is still in the race as far as I am concerned.
I think it is very important for his chances that he beats Kimi in Turkey though...

this is far too simplistic of a view. Ferrari's, and thus Schumi's, dominance had everything to do with the particulars. that is NOT a small detail. During Kimi's drive, Mclaren had not been either consistent/reliable/competitive enough, although he came quite close against Shumi. Through that span, up until last season, i would say they were a 'top' team in name, but not out on the track. And lastly, in the world of F1, Massa's contract could be nothing more than window dressing... I don't think Massa is 'still' improving, but rather his dominant machine has skewed perception.
