So........how have you been "lurking" here on Fchat for years when you joined in Jan 2008?

The reckon multiple Fchat user accounts is a no no.

Eric, FWIW, competizione knows where all the mark should be. They put all the original paint daubs back on my engine after the major. I you want to go concours they can help you.

Take this advice with a grain of salt. The car is going to be around for a lot longer than you. Take advantage of the car while you can. Having a Ferrari and not driving it is like having a Picasso and not looking at it. Don't save it for the next owner down the line. Enjoy the fruits of your labour. Enzo put seats and steering wheels in them for a reason.

 

How about he keep this 'time warp' 348 as is and he get another 348 that he can drive??

Thats what I would do. Get one to drive and keep this one brand new so when your other 348 wears out in 40yrs time, you can start driving this brand new one.

That is without a doubt the most incredible new 348 I've ever seen!! Beautiful.. PAP is correct. Maybe you should put this one away and buy another 348 you can use as a daily driver. Either way congratulations.

At least you know it will be rust free.

Also, do you ever have to clean the interior?? Or do you use leather conditioner on the seats? The seats look brand new, but is the leather on them nice and supple, or is the leather dry and hard from no use?

Pretty cool! I'm open minded, so even though the whole concours thing is alien to my sense of being, I appreciate seeing someone else do it well and enjoying that route.
