Actually, you'd be surprised at the house I'm looking at right now. Check FB in the next few days...when I have a chance to post those pix.
It took about one week to adjust to living in a glass house with no window coverings. Since then and for nearly five years the only time the issue of privacy comes up is when a visitor asks me what it is like to live in a glass house. I live on a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic on my street. I can see all the neighboring houses, however the size of the lot and the way the house was designed and sited are such that any lack of privacy is in the imagination. I do not recall the direct quote, but architect John Lautner said there is nothing better in life than living with great architecture. Andy

I have always wanted to do something like that. A friend of mine owns a shop (60x40) and I was thinking about a little bit bigger but building one of those and then just making the interior livable instead of tools everywhere lol. Nice house

Not really a modern house- but a building that I just moved into. The 2nd one is the lobby with the waterwall. Its not really 'modern' at all- at least not from an architectural standpoint.
