Anyone going to Pocono June 20-23 All-Italian Le Belle Macchine d’Italia?

I will be there for sure...Im a die hard porsche guy and I STILL love the event (would go to say its one of my favorite events that I attend that isnt a race actually).

I will also be there since I live in the Poconos. I will go to watch the track event as well. Can't participate on the track since I have a spyder without permanent rollbars.

Is the concourse big? I know it is the east coast meet for a few car clubs. Are they part of the concourse or do they have seperate areas??

What day is the Lamborghini Ride For Charity??

"The Ultimate Ride of a Lifetime" Rides for Charity with

Lamborghini Factory Test Driver Valentino Balboni in a new Lamborghini

 

Each marque has its own display area within the Concorso Field. The rides for Charity will take place on Sunday the 22nd and depending on if the tires last Monday the 23rd.

We are not sure as of yet which Factory Test Driver will be driving.

 

Thank you for the reply... Do I need to reserve a slot for the Lamborghini ride? How many laps is the ride and what is the cost?

 

Do you have to have a registered car to get a ride with Lambo's test driver.

 

That will be determined by Lamborghini at the event.

 

Is there any vague idea of the cost? $50?? $500?? Did they do this last year? That could be utilized as a basis for a guess. I am trying to decide if I come up to the event on Saturday or Sunday and if I decide to do the ride for charity it will influence my decision.

If I am not on tour I will be there. This is a great event if you even semi like Italian sport cars. Even the parking lot is full of unusual cars. The setting for the concours is a beautiful location. There is plenty of memorabilia for sale and if you car is apart or you don't have one come socialize!

 

I did this last year. It was $50 for 3 laps in a Superleggera. I signed up for it on Sunday, but this year I'm going to sign up for it on Friday (if i can) to make sure I get the laps.
