    Has anyone fitted Pertronix units on a single distrubutor 308 engine ? I've seen threads and info on fitting to the dual distributor cars, but that's not much use really.

    Questions: Which Pertronix units to use and which coller ?

    Pertronix makes an almost drop in kit for the Euro distributors. It includes a reasonably well done plate, a pair of ignitors, and a magnet sleeve. Their kit number MR-181 at roughly $200 US.

    You'll need to spend some time on a distributor machine to get everything set up and phased right. Once complete they work very well.

    I would suggest you go to the Pertronix website and contact them directly. I would bet they either have a UK distributor or they will ship direct to you.
