Yes, and I like the hammered original panels on the Drogo body in posts #307 and #310. They were skilled guy's. Here is the new body on the Sebring car.

Thank you for the nice color photo. Here's a rear view of the car from Road&Track magazine. But I think the year was 1966.

Right- I got to go on press day in 67, and there was no crowd. This would be 66.
    Cheers,

well, Thiessen claimed at the beginning this car was very special with aluminium engine and many racing upgrades.(never heard of this kind of engines?) I think they didn't know what they had. Then it turned out to be a conversion made by diomante, probably 20 years ago when bizzarinis didn't have the values of today. Diomante "signed" this car on both sides with a chrome grifone and D (for Diomante). No doubt this is a good car that provides a lot of fun driving it but not for this asking price. (450kEuros)

Most collectors are not looking for special Bizzarrini's (they all are) they want an original one.

Funny story totally untrue, car was crash in Germany, badly repair, and then the Monaco owner send it to Diomante for restoration and it was cheaper to put a plastic body on it. I have the photos of the crash car badly repair

I guess that's the reason why it is still for sale.

The Bizzarini market seems to be a very marshy ground, i think you have to be very careful when buying one of these wounderful cars.

    +1

I always use the BAD buyers guide for Iso's and Bizzarrini's, in my opinion

If it is being sold in a country that starts with a B

And it has a badge on it that starts with a D you have to question it.

First, to be able to own a Bizzarrini, you need to be rich...(which of course is not quite easy)
After, it s quite easy to buy one.
My ex 7 Liters Le Mans Gregor Fisken have been sold to Holland, and soon on the track with a 5300 engine.

Avoid the brokers and the internet experts, buy from a real owner.
